We really like the big backlit knobs on this model, the new ones all have touch controls and cost more. Everything looks and works as advertised. Gives excellent control on temp settings. Thankfully the knobs do pull off for cleaning, although they are on very tight. Install will be easy for any DIYer.

The grills offer versatility and are HOT! I find I am cooking at lower settings than ever and controlling the dish much better.

Takes a little getting use to since our other cooktop had the older removable electric burners. So far all is good keeping the cooktop clean is working very well. I think the purchase was well worth it.

The electronic switches on the replaced top quit working. This one has dial controls that work well. Only con is that my wife wishes they were down the side instead of all in front.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the in home consultation and the explanations the Designor gave me as we looked at my existing cooktop. I had to pay extra as my granite needed to be cut slightly to fit. I was prepared for this based on what the in home consultant explained to me. I was not prepared to have my handyman shorten the depth of the drawer underneath the cooktop. My old cooktop was flat on the bottom but the new cooktop has a metal box on one side and without altering the drawer depth, I would not be able to have this cooktop. It was installed today and the usage has only been boiling water for testing purposes. I will cook more on it later. The installer, explained the features to me and he was through and helpful.
