Installation is uncomplicated. This unit replaced a 12-year-old GE Profile Cooktop. It dropped into the same space without modification and required no additional plumbing. Performance is much improved, with two high-powered burners. I would have awarded a fifth star, but the grates are cumbersome and prone to scratch the surface if not removed and replaced with the utmost care.

Great size and ease of use. I like where thr placement of the knobs are, sometimes other brands placement get in the way.

Good overall unit. The grate does sit a little high from the flame. So, if you use a larger eye with a smaller pot, the heat around the eye can be intense on your hands.

Great cooktop except for one part, there is a vent in the front under the grates and burners. It’s not a big deal but occasionally water boil over can splash into it. Otherwise it’s a great cooktop. Cleans easy, grates can go in dishwasher, and the super burner can get a huge pot of water boiling in less than 10 minutes.

Very impressed with this cooktop. Everything works perfectly and the boil burner in the middle is incredible.

Good value, easy to clean, no leakage of spills into hidden trays like other brands and designs. one grate that covers all burners is a wonderful work space, burners are surprisingly hot, even the little ones, lighted knobs and gas shut off are nice touches

This cooktop is amazing. it is super easy to operate, clean and the hot center burner is awesome.

Firstly, it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The burner temperatures are accurately marked. Each burner is a different size depending on the size pot/pan you are using. When a burner is in use, there is a cool light illuminated under the dial. Child safety lock for the gas. And easy to clean! Two thumps way up.

We purchased this cooktop to match the oven, and it looks great in our new kitchen! The 5 burners all provide different levels of heat, and the middle burner heats water to a boil twice a fast as our old cooktop

From the beginning it was a great experience, the sales person was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time going over the details of the product. The product looks great!

In the on line video, it states this cook top will fit existing cut outs of the same size cook top. It does not, even though it says GE guarantee it will or they will help with alterations. Contacted Best Buy, all i got was a bunch of suggestions for different cooktops that still would not fit opening.....

Easy to instal, use and clean! We purchase it just about three weeks ago, but so far so good, my wife likes it, and so am I. There are no perfect cooktops or anything else, there always are some things you like or dont. I’m just tring to be reasonable when giving stars. When putting together all pros and cons, like price, quality or design, we are just very satisfied with our purchase!
