I wish it were simpler. There are some features which need a wifi connection. E.g. You can't use the air fryer without first connecting the range to wi-fi. I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea, but it's a deal breaker. It's one of those things that make you questions the competency of the people who build these products at GE. I no longer trust this company and I want to return everything I've purchased from them. Search reddit before you buy any GE products.

Your appliance must be connected to WiFi to enable certain features and should stay connected to WiFi to get access to remote notifications. Additionally, the appliance will get automatic upgrades made to it, including new features and any performance optimizations. This is a great range and we love the true convection, air fry, and cleaning features. I highly recommend.

The GE Profile is an amazing product. The ease of operation is stupendous. The convection oven bakes to perfection.

It's got great burners. A little pricey right now due to Pandemic Markups, but it's definitely a sturdy and handsome range that seems like it'll last for a long time.

Enter this GE profile which had everything I wanted and more. Best Buy installers were GREAT! brought a new hose, leveled it perfectly, showed us that everything work and gave us some useful knowledge about outside venting microwaves- our next upgrade

The burner is the biggest issue and Best Buy has no techs to look at this. There solution is to have someone reinstall the stove (2 months later) which is not going to help. They wanted to replace it but it’s out of stock. Thinking it just needs the top burner piece which would be simple as it just sits on too. But, they have no one to come switch it out. The rest of the stove has been wonderful love the other burners and the cooking functions for the oven.

They insist on installing your range with THEIR chosen so called professionals. Best buy will bail out on you the minite any thing goes wrong. When you need best Buy Medford, do not bother calling the store manager , she is a woman who has no buisness sense and should be replaced ASAP. her name is: Monic and she is a real piece of work ,she can not even relate to logic, facts, or basic comman sense, the sooner she is replaced the sooner that location can begin regaining and credibility. Best Buy Medford hiredsomeone to install our range, they destroyed our hardwood floor & then best buy Medford tries to deney any responsibilty, The only recours you have is to take them to court & that is exactly what will be happing in this case. We will be making sure as many people in this community know how poorly managed the Medford, OR location is and we sure will take every opertunity we can find to spread the word about the poor buisness practices of Best Buy & the Medford, OR Best buy, Trust me they will for sure be YOUR WORST BUY !

They lied. The air fry and convection roast functions do not work unless you register and connect to wifi. I HATE THIS. I don’t want to have to connect to wifi even to operate my oven. Very disappointed.

However, we do recommend you connect it to receive updates and new features. We are always trying to provide consumers with the latest features and WIFI helps us get you access to our latest improvements and enhancements.
