It was clearly designed with the needs of serious home cooks in mind. Edge to edge stovetop grate is wonderful. Convertible middle burner is useful when preparing large meals. I love that feature since I never use the griddle. Intuitive controls. Air fryer works as well as my countertop version but I do let it preheat a few minutes before adding food, despite what the instructions say. I can get rid of my countertop fryer and free up prep space. Bottom oven is low but still perfectly usable. I’m older but have no trouble picking up roasts and casseroles from the lower racks. . 90% of the time we use the top oven, which is so much more convenient than a larger single oven. It’s at a comfortable height to put pans in and out without having to bend over. And it’s plenty roomy to roast a chicken or make a large casserole. I replaced a top of the line Samsung stove with this one and the GE performs so much better than that one ever did, even when it was new.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a GE Profile oven, one expects great quality. However one does not get it with this oven. Whenever the oven turned on, there was a bad gas smell that was noticeable. This was mainly fixed after 2 service maintenances were done on it. However, it should cook evenly in the oven and it doesn’t. Pizza burns in the back and isn’t fine in the front. Or cookies aren’t cooked evenly. Even after maintenance was done on it, it still can’t cook evenly.

We are glad it has since been resolved. We hope to help out with the uneven baking problem that you are having with your oven. This unit has many different features depending on what it is you are trying to cook. The Baked Goods mode is designed for cooking cakes, breads, cookies, and similar foods on a single rack. This mode is designed to provide lighter top browning and better volume. Some foods may require slightly longer cook times relative to when cooked in the traditional bake mode.
