Dryer almost caught fire wasn’t hooked up properly

While I am skeptical of electronic based appliances, we got a great deal on an Open Box GE Profile Dryer. So far this product has been nothing short of fantastic. The load capacity is great, the efficiency is great, the machine runs extremely quietly. We couldn't be happier.

I love these units, they were easy to install and easy to use. The auto dispense makes laundry for 5 much easier. The fresh vent setting has also kept any and all mositure out of the washer and has kept it smelling clean. The dryer works amazing as well and the clothes never need to be ran twice. The different settings have helped keep our laundry fresh and soft. The lint catch is also very easy to clean. These are forever units!

This new GE dryer does not disappoint! Had to have a second one delivered because first had a short. Best Buy was awesome and quickly had a replacement brought to us. This dryer is amazing. It dries fast and can handle king size comforter with ease. Online reviews talk about a tiny hard to clean lint trap, simply not true as you merely unfold the two halves to clean. Super easy! Do not hesitate as this dryer is the best we have had in 30 years.

I was looking into buying a LG stackable washer and dryer. The reviews on this stackabke were just as good as the LG decided to go with this set and not disapointed that we did. We can wash our blankets with ease. When in use the set runs quiet which is very nice.

This GE Profile dryer in Sapphire Blue is a really solid choice. It looks great, and the capacity is perfect for bigger loads, which I appreciate. The smart features are handy for when I'm busy, letting me start or check on a cycle from my phone. I've been really happy with how well the steam and sanitize options work – clothes come out fresh and nice. It's been a good experience all around.

This is the best dryer I’ve ever owned. It’s incredibly efficient and quiet. The sensors work impeccably, and the clothes come out like new. So many options for steaming, etc. and it’s massive!!

Initially, we chose the GE over Electrolux…mistake. While the GE was ok, the Electrolux is excellent. It is efficient in size, has a huge capacity and the specialty cycle’s actually work (think wrinkle guard). So glad to have chosen Best Buy and Electrolux. Strong Recommendation.

The capacity of this dryer is excellent. I put it on setting and it dries ASAP. I totally recommend 100% this GE dryer and when it’s on, you don’t hear anything. It’s so quiet.

Overall, it's been pretty good. The lint trap is not fun to clean. I would say the Best Buy really needs to look into getting reliable help for the installations. We had two men who barely spoke any English. They parked the truck in the middle of our street and it took them 2 hours to get the job done. I had to have another repairman to come and fix and move the units.

Absolutely love this new dryer. I can finally put my California king size sheets in to dry and they do not get all bunched up making me have to keep opening the dryer to untwist them. They dry so efficiently, I love it and all of the other features.
