    This is the best window unit that I have ever owned. I can barely here it run inside and outside. I would for sure recommend this air conditioner.

    Got it. Had to reorder due to a damaged motor. Was a simple go in and they replaced it with a new one. GE support was called first and said that the seller is the only one to help me as I didnt get it direct from then. Works great though overall though the wifi can be tedious to set up. 100% recommend anything GE get from someone with protection or assistance. Only a 3 out of 5 because GE's support line was not helpful.

    I’ve had this unit for over a year. It is not quiet. It makes a weird humming noise but still does cool off the room when it is super hot out it does not keep up even with being a big 12,500 btu.

      We always strive to provide a great experience, and we apologize for any issues you’ve had with your ClearView air conditioner. We want to assist. If the room is hotter than usual, it can take a bit longer for the air conditioner to cool the space down. If you’re concerned the unit isn’t cooling as it should, checking the filter to ensure it’s clean is recommended; additional troubleshooting tips are available on page 16 of the manual, which you can view on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. The manual includes information about normal operating sounds on page 17 as well. You can also review the installation instructions starting on page 9 to ensure everything is set up properly; an unexpected noise may be the result of improper installation. If after reviewing the manual you’re concerned the air conditioner isn’t functioning correctly and you think service may be needed, Bodewell (GE Appliances’ team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393.     I just don’t understand. This unit keeps disconnecting from wifi and going off schedule. Then throughout the night it cannot maintain the temperature setting. I am a hot body sleeper, so I set it for 64 and for some reason throughout the night, I wake up and the temperature is 67-68 in the room. Waste of money.

    I would have given this a 5 start for shaping and no outside noise. Bought the 12,000 BTU for about 350 sq foot room and had it as low as 65 and wasn’t cool off. I shut it off, unplugged it. Tried again and it was making a loud noise. Bright it right back to bestbuy.

    Bad design. Flooded the floor 2 times. bought unit in April 2024. repaired in November 2024. 2nd repair in following april 2025. We replaced it with traditional window unit. October 2025 still waiting on insurance claim for floor damage. Bad experience all the way around.

    Doing a great job right now. Central air is broken but the GE is keeping much of the house comfortable. Very happy so far. Annoying to have to drain the inside portion but that is how it works.

    Don’t waste your money

    This only lasted 2 months before it broke. GE says I need to buy another one then they will refund my money. Leaves me no choice, I have to try another one. They don’t repair the unit. For the price I’m not happy.

    If you plan on using to control snd track your AC forget it. Im an IT guy this app's software is beta at most. Been going back and forth with GE no luck.

    Arrived damaged, oil leaked and smoked when plugged in, and Best Buy won't take back. Zero stars.

    I bought for my garage (man cave) which is 400 square feet. I used it for the first time yesterday. The temperature in the garage was 87 when I first turned it on. The unit brought the temper down to 80 in about 2.5 hours. Fairly easy install. Manual is pretty vague.
