Other than that I really like it and my family does as well.

When I ordered this via online to ship to us- I think it came as a refurbished/used item. It was not in it's original packaging, loose in the box with barely any inside support to protect from shipping... it leaked from somewhere in the underside, and the clip that holds the water tubes in place was broken on one side. We were able to return this item to our local Best Buy hassle free and personally selected a replacement with their assistance. The replacement is far better than this one. Same brand- different model. We have owned this exact unit before which lasted about a year and a half. The one we just received that we are leaving a review on, was not functional. Had it not been in used condition, we may have left higher ratings. It was not Best Buy's fault.

We have a very small counter top so we have it else where. Its not very loud and makes plenty of ice. I didnt leave the side tank hooked up because it makes it pretty quick. The ice is very easy to eat after a couple minutes in a drink or in a cup. My coffee game has been forever changed.

So happy with it so far, love the extra water tank cause we use a lot of ice. It's a little pricey but so far definitely worth it. Has a bigger area to hold ice as well ...

Sonic Ice but better!

Hel oves Sonic Ice and would drive 30 minutes way to the nearest store at least twice a week to get bags of their ice. We have substituted that drive with this machine. He says the ice is a nice blend of Sonic & Chic Fila ice but better. It makes plenty of ice within two hours enough to fill up containers to last for a few days nefore a new batch is needed. He loves his new toy!
