Functions great! Very easy to refill the water tank. The water tank base is magnetic and can switch from the left side to the right side if needed. Very well build, but is very heavy - which means its well made. Not the easiest thing to move, but once its set up you don't need it to.

My ice maker broke in my fridge and this is the perfect replacement

The ice maker works great and fast. We do have to check at least 2 times per day to make sure there is still water in the pitcher part. Very easy to assemble and does not take up a lot of space.

The ice is great but I’m actually switching to a different machine. This one can be very loud and it’s only been a month and I already have to try and fix “add water” alert when it is fuml

Have a Frigidgaire nugget ice maker and this one is so much quieter than the Frigidaire. That is worth the increase in price there since I use this at work. Makes ice quickly, and make a full batch in an hour or so. So far this is a much better machine. The Frigidaire also leaked. This one does not leak.

I got this ice maker as a gift for Christmas and it has been a great product so far. It has incredible ice recovery speeds and only took 5 minutes for it to start spitting out ice. I would highly recommend this product there isn’t another machine quite like this one.

Makes great nugget ice pretty fast. It can be a pain to clean if you have hard water and need to descale it often though

I look on the website and they have a opal 2 in store I spent 1 hour waiting for several sales people tell me they can’t find it so I look back on there website and there is and older opal and they look and can’t find it and i ask for the manager and someone found it so i ask for a discount for the inconvenience and manager says no I can’t do anything and walks off???? This store was Great At the beginning it was like Christmas now its like a garage sale picked over. Please brlng back its former glory.The OPAL i would recommend to my friends but don’t buy from not so best buy …………..

Got this ice maker on sale. Replaced my 4 year old GE Opal nugget ice maker. So far so good even though it’s an older model. We will see how long it performs.

Had this unit for a month and its been handling the families ice needs just fine. Always have ice. We just had 14 people over on Christmas and it handled the event and all had ice for the drinks the entire evening. You wont regret this purchase.

Makes ice consistently without issues. I wish it had a ice scoop holder but thats not a big problem. Having the extra water tank is a plus, especially in the summer

This ice machine is incredible. I love the side tank which allows you to put water in without having to take the ice basket out. We love using it a little too much, as I am constantly filling it back up. I highly recommend this machine.

My family and I absolutely love this ice maker. The nugget ice is perfect! Machine lets you know when water is needed or when it is due for cleaning.
