I "graduated" to this GE Profile nugget ice maker after giving my son my last tabletop ice maker. I do not need the side tank yet, because it makes just enough ice for two. I work in a hospital and love that I have my own "hospital ice" or "good ice"!

If this is his real name that he gave me with his handle bar mustache has no clue how to run a store of any kind . I look on the website and they have a opal 2 in store I spent 1 hour waiting for several sales people tell me they can’t find it so I look back on there website and there is and older opal and they look and can’t find it and i ask for the manager and someone found it so i ask for a discount for the inconvenience and manager says no I can’t do anything and walks off???? This store was Great At the beginning it was like Christmas now its like a garage sale picked over. Please brlng back its former glory.The OPAL i would recommend to my friends but don’t buy from not so best buy …………..

Good ice machine. Seems to be working properly. Easy to set up and ice begins to be made within about 20 minutes

It makes the best type of ice. The only thing i wish it would do is keep the ice frozen for longer periods instead of recycling the water from the melted ice. Other than that its still a 5 star purchase!

I’ve wanted a nugget ice maker for a while. Was currently using a small bullet shaped ice maker. It worked fine but I really like this nugget ice. So I got it on sale for my family/house as a Christmas gift. It works great. Was easy to set up.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Every time I'm on the phone with her I hear ice munching in my ear. Although I don't like the ice munching in my ear my wife is very happy.

I am completely satisfied with this purchase and love the texture of the ice. The ice is some of the best I’ve used. The machine is fast and gas easily been able to keep up to meet our family’s needs.

This thing is fantastic. It keeps the ice bin full as long as you keep water in it, and the automatic idle feature after 8 hours means it's not running all night when no one is using it.

Got this ice maker on sale. Replaced my 4 year old GE Opal nugget ice maker. So far so good even though it’s an older model. We will see how long it performs.

Makes great nugget ice pretty fast. It can be a pain to clean if you have hard water and need to descale it often though

Makes ice consistently without issues. I wish it had a ice scoop holder but thats not a big problem. Having the extra water tank is a plus, especially in the summer

Great Ice maker. Makes ice quickly and keeps cold when not making ice. Originally purchased the 2.0 but it did not work so I returned and purchased the 1.0. I am happy with this purchase.
