Love the ice maker. It is quiet but not super quiet except for an occasional bubble from the water tank but not annoying. It can be a little loud but it has only happened a couple of times. It fills up fast with ice and the ice is great. It fits nicely on the counter with out taking up too much room.Works good so far…

Although this ice maker does make a little noise, it is about as quiet as the ice maker in our refrigerator. I love the soft crunch ice! It seems to make drinks seem colder and is easy on our teeth. Cleaning is easy and we have the machine set via Bluetooth to turn on and off. Very easy to use!

High quality ice, better than I anticipated. Not as loud as I presumed. Great value than other brands. Quality, fit and finish is what I expected. No need for the reservoir unless you need a high quantity of ice over a period of time. Haven’t used the WiFi, don’t think there is a real need for it.

Love this ice machine!!! So we actually have a refrigerator with built in ice and water that is super convenient… but I love this ice… it’s like the SON*C ice!!! Our whole family (5) uses this ice now and not the refrigerator ice!! It actually taste much better!! Also I will note I put off buying this for over 6mo-1yr bc I wasn’t sure I could justify spending this on an ice machine when I already had one in the refrigerator that worked fine!! So glad I decided to splurge and go ahead bc now I couldn’t live without it!!

I bought this item because of problem with my refrigerator ice maker that’s been fixed 4 times in 6 years, replaced twice with new one and is now not working. This is a 4 door French door refrigerator/freezer. The grid and freezer works great, the icemaker is a lemon. This table top icemaker, Opal 2.0 by GE is a life saver and the ice is the best chewy ice I know of. It’s keeps ice ready for us 25 hours s a day. Don’t let the price scare you as in the long haul with my old ice maker I have spent more than this unit costs by far. It keeps ice ready, when you take ice out, it makes more. We have no ice shortage for company now. My daughter is now opting to get one for her house. Great product in my book. We had it for only about 3 months and it’s ready when we are.

This is an awesome icemaker. I would highly recommend this product. It makes the perfect chewable ice. Very easy to set up and it makes ice very quickly. The unit will shut off when the ice bin is full. The unit is very easy to clean and maintain.

Overall this nugget ice machine is great. It was a Mother’s Day gift and my wife loves it. ICE is made almost immediately. The unit does include a very nice plastic ice scoop. It doesn’t include an optional internal filter. But that can be purchased separately. We honestly don’t see a need for one as the machine will tell you when you need to clean it. Overall highly recommend this product you won’t regret it and it’s worth every penny A+.

So far, I love this ice maker. We had a smaller basic table top ice maker but we would go through the ice so fast and the machine got dirty easily on the inside. I've always wanted a "chewable" ice maker, but they are pricey. I decided to treat myself and get it. It makes plenty of ice for a family of 4. It's easy to clean and put together.

It’s bomb and you need one. Def not an item for someone not willing to maintain it as it requires weekly cleaning. It will make noise when it needs to be defrosted but other than that it’s pretty quiet and makes the best ice ever. Best if you have a handy husband who is willing to raise your cupboard so it fits on your countertop!

I love having the convenience of having nugget ice at home. I’ve had it for 6 months so far and haven’t had any issues. I like that I can use the app and have ice made and ready for me when I get home. After reading other reviews I did decide to buy the geek squad protection plan “just in case”. So far I’m very happy with my ice maker.

Totally worth it - the Opal 2.0 makes the perfect ice for any & all drinks. Quick & easy set-up. The machine does not take up too much counter space, which is a plus. Highly recommended!!

I really enjoy this 2.0 version of the Opal. It was easy to install and put into service. The instruction manual was concise and easy to understand. The performance is outstanding, keeping up with our demand for the perfect ice that it creates. Very stylish, attractive unit looks as good as it performs.

For a single person, this make an adequate amount of ice. Though I do like lots of ice in my drinks. If you're buying this to fill an ice chest, you won't be happy with this unit. I fill the water tank up about once a day and I wish they had a kit to hookup a waterline. The Wi-Fi was a little tricky to setup and I selected "Haier>Countertop Appliances>Opal Nugget Ice Maker" to get the "correct" instructions. I took a picture of the current noise levels (67db), which a lot of reviews complained about. The ice is the Sonic restaurant style ice.

We purchased this ice maker with extreme hesitation as we did not think it would keep up with our family of eight. It is a great little machine and we absolutely love the nugget ice. This ice maker works like a charm, it is constantly making ice and the side reservoir is a great addition.

We have had this ice maker for a few weeks now and it’s exactly what we expected and hoped for bad on my research. Easy to set up and works flawlessly. Reviews that say it’s noisy don’t map to our experience. A little pricey but we’ll worth it for us thus far.

I love the ice it makes. Cleaning requests seem to be frequent so that's kind of a pain. Isn't extremely loud but you can definitely hear it working. The blue tooth control is wonderfully convenient!

This is the best ice maker. I waited a while before purchasing but I’m so glad that took the leap and bought it. Our guests love this ice more than the ice from the fridge. If you are in the fence, I would definitely recommend!

We love our GE nugget ice machine. We were buying several bags of nugget ice at a time from our local fast food restaurant. We were so excited when we found this ice maker. The nuggets are perfect and keep our drinks colder than tradition ice cubes.

Makes quick ice! Perfect nugget ice. Makes a quiet hum but not awful.
