Makes quick ice! Perfect nugget ice. Makes a quiet hum but not awful.

If you like Sonic ice, this is the ice maker for you. It does an excellent job of creating that pellet ice that you love! It has a drip tray that keeps the counter clean from water dripping. It has the extra water reservoir so you don’t have to constantly refill. It makes the ice quickly and fairly quiet. Very happy with this product. I highly recommend. It also has WiFi connectivity to schedule ice making if you want.

We have loved this ice maker from the start. Best “Chewing” ice out there. We live full time in a camper and the size works very well for us. Plenty of ice for the whole day!

This is the best ice maker. I waited a while before purchasing but I’m so glad that took the leap and bought it. Our guests love this ice more than the ice from the fridge. If you are in the fence, I would definitely recommend!

Love this nugget ice and it is quieter than our other brand ($400 more now) which was loud, didn’t have the water reserve tank and quit working properly after 1+ year. Would buy again and family and friends now want this too!

This is our third Opal and by far the best one. Fast and quiet. The external tank makes keeping the hopper full so easy. Way to go GE!

Makes the best ice!! Don’t really need the Bluetooth function but since it was on sale I got it. I buy spring water for it. The fresh ice is the best to grab and eat! It’s great for drinks!

I love, do you hear me Luuuuuuuv this machine because it satisfies my ice addiction. My husband bought the “lil’ fridge dairy and gets mad that I don’t share when his runs out. Everyone who sees it try’s to steal and and gets kicked out my house. Also bought my son one, and he has the same problem when people visit. Can’t wait for the newest one, I’m sure that will be even better!

I love this ice machine! I know it’s a steep price but it truly is worth the money! Very easy to use! The ice is the perfect small cubes that we all love! The machine makes me want to drink more ice water!

I hate I waited so long to buy this! I am in absolute love with it! It’s better then sonic ice because it’s always fresh and kind of soft. I hesitated on purchasing because I wasn’t sure how it would really work but when the ice melts it just makes fresh ice! I Love this thing! No more trips to sonic for bags of ice and wasted freezer space. Do not hesitate just buy it!

This is just a fantastic appliance. If you are able to get this, then do. If you and your family like the “Good Ice,” do not hesitate. It’s been on constant rotation since Christmas Day. The app is a bit tricky but once you’ve got it connected to your home WiFi, you can schedule it to turn on and off. I have ours turning on at 3:00am and off at 8:30pm everyday. Ice all day long.

If you’ve made it far enough to look at a review of this product, I can tell you need this in your life. Besides the very minor drawbacks mine has run flawlessly and I’ve enjoyed having it in my kitchen. Ok the drawbacks real quick, the bucket isn’t refrigerated, ice melts constantly. You’ll need to use your scoop and “pick at it” every once in a while to get it producing again. Lastly, it’s warm. I have it in a corner with two sides closed off and it gets kinda warm behind it. Bear in mind and just be cognizant. Buy it, you’re gonna love it. P.S. Use cold refrigerated filtered water.

Great ice and it makes a lot of it. It is a little louder than I would prefer.

We've had this ice maker for just about a month, but it has been as good as advertised. It quickly generates nugget ice and my family has enjoyed it immensely. I'll write a follow up with another review at 6 months but, so far, the family says two thumbs up!

I was so excited to receive my ice maker. I have been watching the price for a while so when it went on sale and a extra $30 off with rewards and rest on credit card no interest for 18 months.Yes please, but back to the ice machine very easy to put together and please get it with water tank on side so its just the connection of the water line to the machine, add water, plug it in and ice nuggets in 20 minutes. The first batch of ice to come out is kind of hard but after that batch the better ice is all you get. I love my machine worth every penny

This ice maker has been the BEST purchase I’ve ever made! I’ve had it for right at a year now, it’s on all day every day and I’ve had no problems! The ice stays frozen and doesn’t stick together and it’s so crisp! PERFECTION! Very well worth every penny!

Bought this ice maker last month and I couldn’t be more happier. I use the ice everyday, it makes ice for continued use without having to press anything. It tells you when to add water, which is great. I love this so much and kept telling my son, he went out and bought one for himself.

Love it. Not too loud, great ice! But, make sure to buy the warranty!
