However my latest experience has been two units that both began to get mechanically VERY NOISY just after a week of use...and both were returned/exchanged.

Then it works for a few days before it starts the cycle all over again. There is something not right for the super high cost. The ice is great but the process is annoying. Will probably have to exchange it soon and see if a new one acts any better.

I have a family of 4 and my kids are in sports. We use the ice to fill water bottles and on game days we tend to run out of ice quickly. Otherwise this is great!

Given your particular usage needs, we'd recommend bagging any extra ice in the bin at bedtime so you'll have more than enough ice on practice and game days. Enjoyed It for a Bit

Awesome ice but I don’t want to spend $700+ a year to have it. Very disappointing.
