DON'T BUY WITHOUT RESEARCH

For several reasons... one of which the ice maker threw ice EVERYWHERE and this was a serious problem with my wood floors. After being installed for only one month, once removed, there was a huge gouge in my floor from one of the feet and water from the ice maker had apparently laid in there leaving green mold. When Best Buy reinstalled the Kitchenaid, the install crew had never installed a built in before. It took 2.5 hours and another gouge in my floor. The GE also had an unfinshed look to it and wires were apparent with no cover. The stainless was impossible to keep clean. The Kitchenaid has none of the above issues.

Extremely well-lit inside. Door shelves are very roomy. Stainless steel exterior seems resistant to smudging. In addition to being a great Fridge, was extremely pleased with my BestBuy experience, beginning with the salesmen and including the installers who did a flawless job.
