Loved the features of this new GE Profile 36-inch Gas Cooktop: appearance and layout of the burners and control knobs. BTUs match or exceed so many other brands. Knobs have a backlight which is great to have. An added bonus is that it fit PERFECT into the existing space and even went matched with the existing hood!

A 5 star stovetop

The burners work flawlessly. They light immediately. The flame adjusts from almost imperceptible to maximum while maintaining a blue flame. We are very happy with this stovetop and gets 5 stars.

A bit disappointed

Although the stove top looked modern it’s construction was no where near the quality of the original. The biggest difference we could see was the composition of the stainless steel. It’s Surface composition is much softer than the older model, thus scratched easily. The stove top functions perfectly but the integrity doesn’t compare to the older model.

Worth the wait

I think it is a great feature. Sadly not the same quality stainless as in the previous one and the same manufacturer. The grates are solid and heavy, and will stand up to a lot of use.

It sleek looking and very sturdy. The grates are heavy and do not sag in any way. The burners easily startup and actually adjust perfectly! I would also recommend the griddle attachment! It makes incredible pancakes!

Instant light up , it has water boiling in absolutely no time. I can’t believe it took us this long to commit - cooking is finally fun again. Cleaning up is also super easy

Each burner is a different size depending on the size pot/pan you are using. When a burner is in use, there is a cool light illuminated under the dial. Child safety lock for the gas. And easy to clean! Two thumps way up.
