So far, it's OK, after the first 2 initial uses. After some research combined with the experience, I've learned to err on the side of lengthening the cook time while decreasing the suggested temps. First attempts resulted in the probe hitting the internal temp much faster than the suggested smoking-time, which made this thing more of a convection oven, than a smoker. Perhaps different pellets will yield more smoky flavors per a traditional smoker. Used on my kitchen counter with no issues, didn't put anything special underneath it for the heat (we have a quartz countertop) and it does not smoke up the house, But there is an aroma of smoked meats lingering after use, but its not annoying or strong (wife didn't complain). Easy to clean the inside parts, except the drain pan, which now has unremovable grease stains after 2 uses (even after soaking, did not want to use anything abrasive to clean the pan). I was fortunate to pay the member price, cause I'd be a bit more disappointed in this, if I paid full retail price.

I bought this on sale for $699. Pros: It's an indoor smoker. Easy to use. Almost effortless when smoking. You probably just need to rotate the meat once or twice during the smoking process depending on how many trays you use. Give a good smoke flavor. Out of the box, I was able to smoke two rack of ribs cut into 3rds with no issue and the cooking time was 5 to 6 hours. Cons: If you plan to smoke a lot then your house is going to smell like bbq smoke. Sometimes it is overwhelming. Eventually, your clean clothes and your furniture will smell like smoke. I was thinking of getting a stainless steel cart and cook outside. On that note, I might as well get an outside smoker. Don't get me wrong, there is no smoke, but the whatever they use to filter the smoke does not filter the smell of the smoke. Also they say the cleaning was easy. Yes, the racks and pans can be washed in the dishwasher. But the interior walls and glass has a lot of tar/smoke residue. You will go through a lot of sponges and paper towel. You will also need a container for the grease and gunk collected with the drip pan.

This is a great smoker. I have used it 8 times since I bought it. It is easy to use. I enjoy the food that is smoked and flavor tastes great.

I could not be happier with my GE indoor smoker! I live in an apartment building and it’s perfect for smoking food indoors. The food taste great and the unit is very easy to use and operate. I’ve recommended this product to many of my friends and family members!

So far we love it. Smoked salmon and chicken and the smoke flavor was mild but still delicious. We just love idea of being able to smoke our foods indoors.

Better than we expected. Had a larger outdoor one we didn't use the capacity on. This indoor one is a perfect size, and gives that smoke flavor all while not having to out in the weather. The app control is a plus and temp probe cooking.

Well-constructed, easy-to-use controls, works very well indoors and does a great job smoking meats.

Overall this a great little smoker. Two wishes: a bit larger capacity and better circulation to make all the inside same temp; a dozen chicken legs had final temps spread from 150 to almost 190. Easy to use, easy to clean and sparing on use of pellets. Be sure to use 100% hard wood pellets. For me I can work around the two minuses above

Makes great tasting food with a good smoky flavor added. Only a minor smoky odor gets into the house. The use of the temperature probe is optional and everything can be monitored through the SmartHQ app. A great value at $699, try to get it when it's on sale.

To be 1st in line for an AWESOME product such as this, only Best Buy would lead the way.

Works great but read instructions and watch tutorial videos via youtube for easier experience. Easy to clean, good job on meats.

Indoor smoker that has 5 levels of smoke flavor. 0-5, 5 being most smoke. Meat turns out perfectly cooked and very moist. Best cooker yet we have found.

I like it well made machine. Just set it' and forgot you can go wrong if you want to cook slow and add smoke.
