I preordered this, so excited and totally did not disappoint. I have been following the entire series since the beginning. I love how we can be Kate or even Jack!!! The story is so good and so are the graphics, sounds, music. If your heart doesn’t get a pumping you must not have one. I like how there are side missions.

Gears 5 is an improvement to an already great game Gears of war 4. The world is semi-open, great graphics, deep story, etc. Its in my opinion worth a buy. (My review is for the single player campaign only).

Gears 5 redefines greatness with stunning visuals, gripping story, and exhilarating gameplay. A must-play for fans and newcomers alike. Fantastic game! Loved the story mode!

Excellent video game. The latest in the GOW series doesn’t disappoint. Gears 5 is exactly what it needs to be. This old war vet still packs a punch. The open-world exploration has issues, but that isn’t enough to steal away the thunder The Coalition expertly deploys on the battlefield. The campaign is a fun ride that concludes with a shocker moment and a hell of a setup for a sequel. I’m already looking forward to that follow-up. Buy it, it’s fun and you won’t be disappointed. I loved it!

I play this game first on Xbox Game Pass, and I really love it. I liked it so much that I bought it for my collection. Its excellent to play single or with your friends online. If you have an Xbox console you need to play this. Its one of the best exclusives that this console have.

This is the glitchiest game I’ve ever played. I’ve been playing the campaign with my friend across the country as it’s become a tradition of ours in this series and I’ve never experienced so many glitches than I have in this game. For example, when you start upgrading Jack it tells you to go to the Jack menu, so I did but I got stuck in it and the only way to get out of it was to restart to the last checkpoint (as many other people have reported the same problem). When we finally beat the Matriarch, it put me in a loading screen and my friend in a cut scene. He wanted me to see the cut scene, so he reloaded the last checkpoint and it made us replay the Matriarch boss battle! There are also many times where the game will freeze for a second, especially after rolling whilst in combat and when it unfreezes, I get killed. We were playing again the other day and I was driving the skiff and kept getting stuck without being able to drive or get off of it. The only solution was to reload the checkpoint and even then sometimes he had to reload it three times for it to allow me to do anything. I have attached a screenshot of this. All of these glitches are completely unacceptable. As someone who has loved and played this franchise since the get-go I am truly disappointed how they would release this game with so many glitches. It’s a shame too because it is visually beautiful and I love the new additions and storyline as well but they were obviously money hungry and didn’t care about fixing the bugs before launch. I will not be buying anymore Gears games because they failed on this one because it’s just too frustrating dealing with all of the glitches, which takes away from the fun of the game.

Beat in the entire gears series. 5/5 game. Wish I could start over and play it again.

Great multi-player game even better campaign worth it

The gears of war series is one of those most plays if you enjoy third person shooters.

Excellent game! Zombie mode is as good as blk ops II. Like the winter snowball gifts with gifts, pretty cool way to upgrade weapons.

Christmas present for my kid. Got it for $5. Can't complain.

I bought this game and after installing i noticed it's not the standard final version but the early access one with only campaign mode and the other are missing. When you update it requires you to download the whole game. In microsoft store it says the game is installed but not bought as your own property. I'm disappointed.

Cover art is misleading dont advertise wrong cover art for a game that doesnt come with it. Would of been nice to get a series x cover art reather then regular xbox one cover art. Its just included upgrade on ur console not game.

Was not sent the same box art/case as the one in the picture yet whenever I have tried to price match an item and the art work isn’t EXACTLY the same they refuse to give me the discount. OOOF MADONE!

Graphics are amazing. Read Ascendance, good back story. The series is just great and Gears 5 just brings more back home. Campaign is fantastic. Good story and new uses of the robots Dave and Jack. Prepare for more fun and a must have if you are into the Gears franchise. Playability is smooth on Xbox X.

I have always been a fan of the Gears series and 5 has not disappointed. Horde has been improved upon with a lot more challenging enemies to provide hours of challenges and fun. The campaign is well told and will definitely have you hooked wanting to play more and more. This game won't dissapoint.

Excellent and fun campaign with all the characters. Story is good, combat, visuals and gameplay is amazing! This game support Dolby atmos and DTS X i use a proper headphone the game is even better! Multiplayer is fun as the previous gears and addictive
