Better Graphics, improved storyline, new weapons and don’t forget the terminators, this should be the game of the year! Improved training level and improved weapon selection. More action than before and better in game player options. Overall I give an 10 out of 10 score.

Hands down best graphics and gameplay is awesome as always. This is what quality gaming is about. My collection is complete now.

Superb come back. This is a must if you really enjoy this series. It definitely does not keep you on hold or waiting for the excitement. Get ready for some serious fun on the Xbox one.

Campaign and horde mode are on point. Some of the other extra modes are really good as well, but multiplayer in general is a bit lacking in my opinion as shotguns dominate the game play without much variability amongst other weapons. Still, the price makes it almost a must buy.

Quality title for Xbox. A lot of content has dropped for this game since release which only adds to the value here. Great graphics and story and the action can't be beat. One of the best franchises Microsoft currently has

Gears of war 5 improved its gameplay and graphics it looks amazing on 4K TVs. the story is better than gears of war 4 and multiplayer is fun like gears of war 3 back in 2011. It’s amazing just like the first gear of wars game that came out in 2006

Spending Pandemic2020 playing Gears has been a highlight. I can't understand why the reviews were so negative when the graphics are good, gameplay is fun, and it's a good story line.

It's Gears so if course it's good. Payed an insanely low price while on sale. Adds some open world elements to the classic gears gameplay. Oh and the graphics are insane on the series x.

Campaign was better than Gears of War 4, microtransaction purchases for skins seems quite pricey, Escape mode keeps you interested for a few rounds, but loses luster after several games, Tour of Duty requires too much time to complete, Gameplay is very similar to previous versions, with the execption of the more open sections. Would recommend to others if discounted.

This is such a great game! I love gears and I’ve played and beat every last one of them. If you love the gears series then you’ll love this. It’s got a good story with plenty of action. Co-op on this with a friend or friends is very fun.

I've only played a couple of online matches because I'm having so much fun playing the campaign. For me, Gears needs both a strong campaign and a strong multiplayer, and so far, it's succeeding. For $10 this game is a steal!

Love the gears franchise, but was a little disappointed with gears 4. Not a bad game just not as good as it could be. After playing through 5 they definitely uped the ante. Story is 10x better than 4, graphics are incredibly in 4k w/the X and tweaks to gameplay are a welcomed addition. Got it with $10 preorder reward from BB so at $50 it was a great value.

I played Gears 5 back to back with Gears 4 and while 4 was solid, it was pretty same-y from the original trilogy. Gears 5 on the other hand, kept the great gunplay, but opened up the world with big areas with different encounters and secrets to explore. Once you get to specific areas attached to the open world, it's more similar to older Gears, with tight quarters and level designs that are conducive to some good firefights. The mix of environments and pacing they achieved between the two is really the shot in the arm the series needed and helps it to feel fresh. I had a great time with this game.

Really enjoy the gears of war franchise. Game has excellent graphics and gameplay is fun, especially being able to play campaign with someone else locally or online.

I've been a fan of Gear of War since the 1st one & it gets better & better. Everything from the storyline, characters, weapons & the graphics... I recommend getting this game!

For an old gamer, this is reminiscent of the first Gears played on my original XBOX, only the story line is better, and the graphics are great, which compliments this franchise!

Bought this online for my sons birthday on black friday. Picked it up in the store with ease. Hes been playing it and I watch and am just in awe with the graphics and the storyline. Great purchase and definitely recommend.

Gears of War 5 is a continuation of the Gears Saga. In short, you can expect great graphics, great gameplay, new modes, such as "escape," and plenty of "add-ons" to come. Although the game play has a different feel compared to previous versions of the game, it is well worth having in your collection if you are an avid shooter gamer.
