I've always loved the Gears series. I even bought the original XBOX so that I can play the first game. This game continues the storyline and couldn't be better. From the gameplay to the storyline, everything is top notch. An excellent game for anyone!

Gears of war 5 improved its gameplay and graphics it looks amazing on 4K TVs. the story is better than gears of war 4 and multiplayer is fun like gears of war 3 back in 2011. It’s amazing just like the first gear of wars game that came out in 2006

Spending Pandemic2020 playing Gears has been a highlight. I can't understand why the reviews were so negative when the graphics are good, gameplay is fun, and it's a good story line.

It's Gears so if course it's good. Payed an insanely low price while on sale. Adds some open world elements to the classic gears gameplay. Oh and the graphics are insane on the series x.

The suspense and intensity from the first 2 games in the series is back! They nailed the story and tone this time around. Gameplay is solid as usual, adding customization to one of the teammates is a plus. Multiplayer is also fun and challenging

Campaign was better than Gears of War 4, microtransaction purchases for skins seems quite pricey, Escape mode keeps you interested for a few rounds, but loses luster after several games, Tour of Duty requires too much time to complete, Gameplay is very similar to previous versions, with the execption of the more open sections. Would recommend to others if discounted.

This is such a great game! I love gears and I’ve played and beat every last one of them. If you love the gears series then you’ll love this. It’s got a good story with plenty of action. Co-op on this with a friend or friends is very fun.

Love the gears franchise, but was a little disappointed with gears 4. Not a bad game just not as good as it could be. After playing through 5 they definitely uped the ante. Story is 10x better than 4, graphics are incredibly in 4k w/the X and tweaks to gameplay are a welcomed addition. Got it with $10 preorder reward from BB so at $50 it was a great value.

Finally we get a gears of war story that is very human and heartbreaking. The gameplay is very rocksolid and the multiplayer is outstanding but the single player storyline is hands-down the best in the franchises history.

I played Gears 5 back to back with Gears 4 and while 4 was solid, it was pretty same-y from the original trilogy. Gears 5 on the other hand, kept the great gunplay, but opened up the world with big areas with different encounters and secrets to explore. Once you get to specific areas attached to the open world, it's more similar to older Gears, with tight quarters and level designs that are conducive to some good firefights. The mix of environments and pacing they achieved between the two is really the shot in the arm the series needed and helps it to feel fresh. I had a great time with this game.

Great graphics, story, gameplay, all around it’s a solid game.

I've been a fan of Gear of War since the 1st one & it gets better & better. Everything from the storyline, characters, weapons & the graphics... I recommend getting this game!

For an old gamer, this is reminiscent of the first Gears played on my original XBOX, only the story line is better, and the graphics are great, which compliments this franchise!

Bought this online for my sons birthday on black friday. Picked it up in the store with ease. Hes been playing it and I watch and am just in awe with the graphics and the storyline. Great purchase and definitely recommend.

Gears of War 5 is a continuation of the Gears Saga. In short, you can expect great graphics, great gameplay, new modes, such as "escape," and plenty of "add-ons" to come. Although the game play has a different feel compared to previous versions of the game, it is well worth having in your collection if you are an avid shooter gamer.

Gears 5 has great graphics and great new gameplay can be challenging but it's worth a play! Loved the challenging bosses Great story! great graphics !great gameplay! It is also Worthy of another playthrough

I love the GOW series. And this game was a lot of fun. Awesome campaign and Horde was crazy good. But it felt like they were angling a little too hard on the social justice scale. I didn’t need the lesson on inclusion. But, I won’t get too deep. Play for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

the game keeps u going graphics are amazing game play is amazing they did a great job with it ending could have been better but beside that I'll play it over and over the online play was amazing as well
