Another great Gears game. Control scheme is very familiar so you can jump right in and if your not it start you off with a fun trial style tutorial. Game picks up where Gears 4 left off. love the story and action packed game play. must try game

My daughter hangs with her boyfriend a lot and this is one of the many games they play. SHe comes home and tells me about it and when he comes over, the two of them talk non-stop about the amount of fun they have playing this game.

First of all, I purchased the Ultimate Edition because of the gorgeous steel book. The game itself is amazing and the campaign is by far the best in the series. The graphics are also unbelievable when played on Xbox One X.

Admittedly I haven't put many hours into this game that being said this is one of the best looking and most polished games on console and if you're a xbox owner you're missing out if you don't have this in your collection already

I’m a big time gears of war fan! This game was awesome! I enjoy the storyline playing co-op online with a friend. I’ve not invested much time in multiplayer but had a lot of fun playing this.

Worth the wait. The story continues after the ending of Gears 4. Find out more about Kait and her family. New open world feel to the game. Smooth gun play. New online modes. This is a must buy for Xbox owners.

I got this game for my brother who loves Gears Of Wars he’s played all of them and loves them all he tells everyday the cool stuff he’s encountered in the game and shows me he loves it so I give it a 5 star

Still have yet to complete the campaign, but the multiplayer has a lot of options between Escape, Horde, and traditional team deathmatch with varying levels of difficulty that keep you coming back for more.

Those of you who have been following gears you will not be disappointed with this latest game pick it up today and get ready for some serious action multiplayer is not to be believed worth every penny

This game definitely lives up to it's predecessors. It's the same Gears you know and love on top of new weaponry' enemies and bossess to fight. I love Gears and enjoh playing this game everyday.

Huge fan of the GOW series. Ive been playing since the original. I enjoyed the moves GOW4 made and I was looking for a little more from GOW5. Its early still and I haven't delved into the campaign at all but right now it just feels like the same game with different maps (Multiplayer). I have to keep playing so I may adjust my rating later (if possible) but it feels like more of the same. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing but I was looking for something new to capture my interest and bring me in again. That being said, the gameplay is great. Haven't noticed any connection issues on multi player (yet) but its still early. Matches do seem to take a lot longer to start and they don't just roll right into the next map. You get kicked out to the lobby after each series which seems like a waste of time. Overall, I'm excited for the new game and looking forward to what it has to offer but its nothing groundbreaking.

So far really good fun game. Playing through the older ones again before I really jump into it but don’t regret spending the money to get it physically. Definitely pick up at least on game pass

Love how the gameplay has evolved over the series, the new modes that have been added for multiplayer are so fun. Hopefully any future add-on's add to the overall greatness of the game.

Gears, unlike other mainstream games continues to maintain (and continuously improve upon) a very high level of quality. If you are a fan of Gears already, this will keep you a fan.

I like the new character specials in horde but not so much with how little points drop after a kill, but I guess they did that so it’s not easy. Haven’t played campaign yet due to friends getting booted with all the bugs. That is only downside so far but I’m sure it’ll be worked out. Graphics are amazing!!

I play this game mostly for horde, and it doesn’t disappoint. Also the new pve mode escape is exceptional. I’d recommend this game for anyone who is looking for a good shooter.

This game is amazing!!!!!! I dont have the xbox one x but I do have the xbox one s gears of war 4 limited edition and IT IS AMAZING!!!!! 5 stars all the way.. COG for life!!!!!

Overall I am 100% satisfied with the game and how polished it looks. Besides starting off a bit weak due to server issues, I know they will be resolved pretty soon. 5/5 stars!
