    I gave it a 3 of 5 stars because I think the game could have been better made. It tries to live up to the original gears of war but the story line is lacking. The graphics are decent and some of the missions were enjoyable. Unlike the other gears games this was only good for one play through.

    Its not exactly the best in the series, however if you never played the series it may be worth it to buy it now close to launch because they will give you X360 versions of all 4 previous games. But other than that, its just meeting the same standards of previous games, not really exceeding them
