The Xbox waited a couple of years to release a gears on the next generation. It was worth the wait. The Horde mode is great.

I don't get all the hype with this game, I played 3 missions and got rid of the game, to me it's just another shooter with ok graphics and short

If you haven't gotten this then it is a must if you are into gore and horror! It comes with 1-4 such a great deal!

This is a great game to get if you wanna play local co-op. Not so big on the fact you can't turn around but still is fun.

Great addition to the franchise plus it came with all the other gears of War games so it's like five games in one, awesome.

Still, you’re better off playing the trilogy. Story is...eh. Multiplayer gets a little repetitive. If you have friends to play with, you’ll have some fun.

The controls and level design are more reminiscent of the first 3 games. This is probably why I like it more than Judgment.

This campaign mode on this game is awesome! I loved everything about this game and can't wait for the next one to come out.

Multiplayer is good, but hit registration is off. You can shoot someone with a gnasher at point blank range and it shows you only hit for 15%.

On-Sale for $39.99 including DL codes for the other 4 GOW games. Heck of a deal. Can't get the same deal from Msft.

This is a must have for any Xbox owner. Full of all the gun fights and online gameplay you can handle.

It looks like they turned back the clock with this one. This is more in the style of the first game and thats a good thing

Game story/horde is great so if you are into that then this is a good game online same old gears like before not so great

I love gears of war, this is an amazing sequel. Although short story, definitely opens the franchise up to a new series.

Who doesnt want a chainsaw gun. If the answer is you then leave this game alone and go contemplate your life as a gamer.

What can you expect from the fourth installment in this series? The gameplay is pretty much the same as it has always been in the Gears series, and by now it's getting pretty stale. The story wasn't much to begin with. Same story here. What I really dislike about this game is the "pay-to-win" aspect of the online game. You need so many power ups to stay competitive, and the only way to get those power ups is by microtransactions. There are numerous articles online that talk about this. Read them before you buy. I wish that I did.

Multi-player after the campaign while fun is full of veteran players and not enough weapons for the whole group. I guess I better get good.

Fun game within a cool futuristic world of robotics and violence. Story mode is captivating and online play is superb.
