I played a lot of Gears 1 - 3 and I thought I was really tired of the style and gameplay. Then I played Judgement and that really made me tired of Gears. I wasn't going to buy this game because I needed a break from the series. When I read reviews by others who were as fatigued as I was, and they were praising it, I decided I'd pick it up. I'm glad I did. At the beginning of the game it seems like it's going to just rehash the old games, but just when you think "great, this game is more of the same. Why did I buy this?" then it changes and I was as hooked as ever. If you think you're tired of Gears like I was, give it a shot. It's really good.

Goes back to the gears of war roots and has familar gameplay with an engaging story, which is a new direction for the series. Multiplayer is fun but getting new guns and characters is extremely frustrating because it almost forces you to have to buy these packs.

Fun Sequel. also a very good co-op game. the multiplayer is pretty good too.

The horde mode on this game is so perfectly streamlined and polished that it's an absolute joy to play. The campaign and multiplayer are fun as well, but horde is what really shines.

great graphics and shoot em up. kids are great at it and it is fun to watch

I love the Gears of War series this is by far the best looking game of the series. The story is well thought out too. I like that Marcus Phoenix was brought back as an older man too. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the GOW series or action games.

I like the mix of new characters, weapons & new map layouts. it more of the.same but better, if your new to the series it may have to grow on you, but if you've played & followed the GOW series, you'll be right at home. horde mode is awesome as always !!!

Great redeemer to Gears Judgement!. Awesome continuation of the original 3 games. Great graphics, awesome gameplay with my Elite controller. Campaign is great! Now on to Horde!

Nothing you haven't seen or played in a Gears game before. Graphics and voice acting are top notch. Story is pretty decent too, somewhat predictable but all in all an A+ title!

Really good game, exactly how I remembered Gears of War from the Xbox 360 days. Graphics are beautiful. Story is solid. Perhaps too familiar but a very nice time nonetheless.

Gears of war series never ceases to be fun and the fact that I got download codes for the first three with it was a great addition and amazing bargain.

This was one of the best entries in the series. The story was my favorite part of the game, while keeping the solid gears game play the series is known for, highly recommend

If you've liked the prior games then you will enjoy this one as well.

Gears 4 is a fun return to form in a story that holds up well and mirrors past entries in the series. The multiplayer is excellent and is being supported with free dlc maps.

The continuation of the C.O.G. adventure does not disappoint! The campaign has a familiar feel, but does not get stale or boring. The multiplayer experience has classic modes with the addition of a few new game types. Buy this game and enjoy!

If you liked the previous Gears games you'll like this one. Great action with beautiful visuals. I'm enjoying the story as well. Looking forward to the next installments.

Story, playability, action and engagement for the player are all top notch for this latest entry in the gears of war universe. Multi-player is fun and excellent as well.

Gears has gone back to its roots! Game play and graphics are amazing. They added great control features, and the action is incredibly smooth. Highly recommend this game.

This game is AMAZING. Campaign is short but very rich. The multiplayer is better than it has ever been. I highly recommend this game for EVERY person that owns an XBOX!
