I have always enjoyed the Gears series. They up the anti in this addition and have created a fun fast paced single player campaign. The story is nothing to write home about, but the set pieces are big and the gameplay feels great and is very fun. Horde is back and better than ever. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting some friends together and trying to make it through wave after wave of enemies. Overall, a very solid entry in the series.

It's the same old gears of war we love with extra polish. Story and game play are very enjoyable.

This is a good next chapter to the Gears Of War storyline. Basically more of the same gameplay as in Gears 3. Great looking graphics. Multiplayer is fun too.

Great story, great horde, meh multiplayer, overall a great gears game for new and former fans.

Its very similar to the past games, in terms of gameplay, which is a good thing. They changed the default control style, for the better ofcourse, and helps in competitive matches by getting used to that setup. The game itself has amazing graphics, they definitely took up a few notches from previous games. Ofcourse they always looked good, so this is just icing. The game is fun, i recommend it especially for coop gameplay.

A continuation of gears 3 and an unique story line. I like the return of the horde mode and the changes that were made. Definitely enjoy over Judgement.

This is by far my favorite GOW game yet. The graphics are killer and the campaign is amazing.

I love gears of war and this game was no exception but it did make me cry at the end.

This is a worthy addition to the Gears franchise. The campaign is much shorter than the previous 3 installments (and yes, we are pretending Judgment never existed) but decent. Multiplayer and Horde modes are where the game is the most enjoyable in my opinion. There are enough new wrinkles in the game, with enemies, weapons, and tweaks to game mechanics to make it feel new, but it's still quite familiar to Gears vets.

I love this franchise. It's a different take on run and gun type games. The third person view is what make it fun. Great story, visuals, and gameplay.
