Fun and action packed campaign. Great multiplayer.

So far both the story and the action is very good.

I really loved the story mode on this game. Very engaging, great new characters, and keeps you moving from big set piece to big set piece. Graphics are great as you would expect from a AAA title. Multiplayer is plenty of fun as well, but much more "difficult" for the average player, so it can be frustrating at times.

The gears of war series has had some let down with certain releases (judgement). But this release has everything you want in a gears of war game. One thing I do miss is wingman not being a playlist anymore. So if you're a huge fan like I am of that game mode it will hurt to not see it carried forward in this series.

Just started playing this series, all 5 games for $30 (black friday). Can't wait to get to GOW 4.

This is one of the best titles out now for the Xbox One. Gameplay and storyline make it hard to put the controller down. This has split screen local co-op which is a huge plus, nothing beats gaming with a real person in the same room. Looks great with on HDR mode (if you have a compatible TV). Pick this one up.

This is a great 3rd person shooter with intense graphics and smooth gameplay. My girlfriend couldn't put it down until she beat the game! Great action scenes and awesome graphics combined keep you immersed in the story. Highly recommended for those that like action, shooters and a must have for Gears of War fans.

I have played almost every GOW and this is right up there with the most entertaining! Although the movements are pretty much the same, the gameplay and the challenges are much better in this installment of the franchise. This game it fun and competitive at the same time. The online multiplayer modes are very fun as you take on wave after wave of bad guys and the solo mission will be sure to keep you occupied for hours!

I loved all the previous Gears releases, so was incredibly looking forward to this next addition set 25 years after GoW 3. It took me awhile to get into the single player campaign, and when it was starting to hum the campaign finished somewhat abruptly. The AI and graphics are amazing, but ultimately there was something missing from the overall package that prevented the game from truly excelling.

Bought it for a great price during the holidays. Lots of fun just to jump in and play.

I love the Gears franchise, and this latest installment does not disappoint. I'd guess it is close to the same amount of game time as the previous games. Even though you are now playing as a younger generation (Marcus is an old man now) it is easy to get into this story. Get ready for some shoot 'em up fun.

I really love gears of war games . Been a fan since the first edition. I’m always nostalgic with the old days and maps but moving forward I really enjoy this game and always adapt with new gameplays and maps, that being said, a true fan can really still enjoy this game.

Love it good game, was a little confusing at first on how some game modes but I eventually figured it out

The Gears of War franchise hits home once again! The campaign is great and will leave you wanting more without a doubt. I have been playing Horde pretty much everyday since this came out. I love the specialized class options and upgrades available. I am a chick that kicks butt as a heavy weapons expert. :-)

Of course with the title being said there is much "Gears Logic" in this game that will make you occasionally call foul play but over all with this games great guns, controls and gameplay has to make it one of the greatest games out there especially when playing with your friends on a weekday night.

Arrived before time and a good game to play, however the CD Box was a little broken and its quality is so bad that it is breaking every time I open and close it.

With a new team taking the helm of the Gears of War franchise, they've done a solid job of bringing the series back with Gears of War 4. The campaign relies a bit too much on forcing horde gameplay into it for my taste and the shooting mechanics are still too reliant on bullet sponge enemies, but other than that, it's a good time. Multiplayer is decent if you're good at it and Horde mode is a good time as always.

Easily best multi-player game on XB1 right now. The graphics are very good, and look great on a 4K TV w/ HDR. I have not finished the capaign but its very smooth through the 1st couple acts. I definitely play the Horde mode more and the experience is amazing. A must get if you own an XBox and GoW fan.
