Good story and good graphics. I enjoy the single player campaign a lot.

This game is great. i had heard so much about previous Gears games, but the xbox 1 is the first xbox console i have owned. I understand the hype now. These games are awesome. And you get all 4 previous games digitally when you buy Gears of War 4! How great is that!?

In addition to quality visuals, engaging story line, and tight controls, I often look for games that have a legitimate cooperative experience. This is the total package when it comes to all of these things. If you enjoy third person shooters, this isn't one to miss.

As the first game from a brand new studio created solely to carry on the legacy of a popular franchise, Gears of War 4 is mostly successful. The campaign tells a personal story while setting the stage for a larger conflict in potential sequels, and Horde mode is still a blast in co-op. The versus multiplayer is is totally unforgiving to casual players, though.

Excellent single player campaign. The new characters are great. Best gears yet.

Amazing graphics, great campaign but multiplayer is where it's at.

This game is good. Story mode was good. Multiplayer was good, just like the old games. Miss the locust but the new ones get the job done. Hope you have a good stomach for the new enemy's. The only down side to me is that you don't play as Marcus during story mode.

Fourth installment of the gears series (not counting judgement) and the game does not disappoint. I personally don't play the multi player but the single player and Horde 3.0 modes were absolutely fantastic. Fast paced action and the bosses are truely challenging.

I really enjoyed this game. With Gears you basically know the mechanics of the controls but what makes this a return to excellence is the characters and story. It feels like Gears 3 in terms of character development which is good since Judgement was forgettable.

Gears of War 4 is well, the fourth GOW, obviously. And with being the fourth game in the series comes a lot of hardcore fans who have mastered the movement and gameplay. I tried playing online a bit and since I'm new to the series, I was wrecked lol. I still had fun but I would recommend playing the single player mode first to get a hang of the wall bounce.

Good game. Quite a big update when you first install, but good overall game.

Another sequel in the great GOW series if you have Xbox One X try it on that for the updates.

Overall, the gameplay is similar to games in the past, but the story is lacking in areas. The dialogue is cheesy at times, and the severity of some of the plot points are dulled by the dialogue. Had some cool moments, but doesn't quite live up to previous games. It comes with the previous games, which is great from a nostalgia standpoint. I give it a 4/5.

Solid game play and mechanics along with a interesting story line.

I've played and owned every Gears of War game. For a decade now, my friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed the online multiplayer experience. It's a fantastic franchise, and with Gears 4, The Coalition get off to a nice start with their new saga. I have yet to beat the campaign, but from what I've seen and the little I've played, it's very much like previous entries, which is a good thing. The gunplay is very tight and responsive like you would expect, and there are some interesting new weapons thrown into the mix. Online is an absolute blast. While the micro-transaction scheme leaves a lot to be desired (games like halo do it better), the actual game itself is a good as ever, ranking right below Gears 3, which is unbeatable as far as online play goes in the series. All in all, it's a great game and I can't wait to see what The Coalition brings to the table next go round.
