About half way through the game and it's good. Still trying to figure out the story and if I like it (won't give away any spoilers) but if you are a fan of the series definitely get this one. I have played all 4 and actually think part one was the best one. Also the remake of gears 1 for Xbox one is a must. Love the new. Campaign boards.

Best game in the world and the online play gives you hours of fun!!

The new developers did a good job of capturing the feel of the prior games while introducing new mechanics. The new characters they bring into the story are cool, and the game looks awesome; especially in 4K on an Xbox One X.

If you like the Gears if War games, you should check this one out.

I have been a fan of the series for a while. I didn't play GoW: Judgement because they started to feel the same, but with this version, they made the multiplayer interesting by allowing you to purchase skins for your weapons and characters by using points you earn in multiplayer (or you can use real money). What I like about their approach is they will introduce themed skins or events as well (Halloween, Holiday, Luchador, etc). The campaign was great because they really gave you new settings and introduced elements of Hoarde mode into the campaign which I thought was fun. I loved the intro, and there was a part towards the end which introduced a new "vehicle" that I won't spoil. The version I got also had a code for the first 4 Gears games for free (360 versions, not the remastered, but they're backwards compatible.

Purchased it in the Black Friday sales and it's totally worth it.

While Gears 1 Ultimate was a great experience, GOW4 finally brings the Gears franchise to current gen. A great campaign combined with a multiplayer experience that rivals anything else out there equals another home run for Microsoft Studios.

GOW4 is the next installment of the hit series franchise. There are new characters to use and play with, but the game has the same mechanics we all love to use. Of you're a fan of the franchise or even a new player you'll love this game.

The game looks fantastic. Not a fan of the first two acts (fighting against cyborgs is just not as satisfying). The new horde mode changes are challenging. I would give it a 5 if they still had 4 player online co-op. So lame that it is only 2 player now. Also, props to MS for letting steam players join Xbox players. Pretty awesome.

I loved Gears 1-3 but I didn't love Judgement. Gears 4 feels similar to Gears 1 and 2. The atmosphere is great, new enemy types, good story. This was the most fun co-op game I have played in a few years, make sure to enjoy it with a friend.

Great game, online multiplayer is fun. I havent touched the campaign because im currently playing gears 1which came free with the purchase of this game. I will be play all of the gears before gears 4 campaign but i am lovibg the game so far

Wish more people would play this online. It is better than COD.

This long awaited game marks the return of Gears of War that true fans enjoyed for a LONG time! Two words: HORDE MODE!!! The Campaign is as good as its ever been, and the Versus mode is as fun as ever. This is a MUST HAVE for any Gears fan!

I was pumped to see a new Gears game coming out. I was excited to be able to play Horde with my friends. I wish the Beast game mode would have been brought back in to the game also to make it perfect. Either way it is still a great game.

Awesome addition to the gears franchise. Bought this one as a gift for a friend and he was very happy with his gift. Only negative is that it’s such a good game you can finish playing it in one sitting.

I was a bit put off by the same game new number, but the graphics, characters, and gameplay were worth it. Not to mention my discount for being in the Gamer Club with Best Buy. Beats out prices from other gaming locations.
