Great game, great series, great fun. No complaints here

Gave as a gift, but they were very happy to receive it.

It is rare for a 3rd person shooter to tug on the heart strings like this game does repeatedly through a simple but rich narrative about coming to terms with fate and faith or lack there of. Gameplay is amazing, graphics, while not as innovative as previous renditions of the franchise, were still breathtaking.

I'm not really qualified to give an expert level review of this game, as I'm not an avid gamer and haven't gotten that far within the game. I can say that, so far, the game is awesome and I would recommend it to my friends.

I love the Gears of War series and this is one of the best. The graphics are fantastic with new environments, new bad guys and new weapons. Game play is very similar with previous games so is easy to jump right in and play.

Gears of War continues the solid franchise throughout.

Wow, what can I say. Gears of War 4 has set the bar again. I loved the first ones, but this one takes the cake. From the graphics to the team play to online gaming it has been phenomenal. I would recommend this for everyone.

I became a fan of this franchise even more when part 2 came out. Part 1 was great but it got me more hooked in part 2. I still haven't played this one yet even though I have it but I heard really good things about this one.

The single player is wonderful and the horde mode is even better. It also comes with Gears of War collection codes, so basically you paid one game price to get 5 awesome game experience. A must buy for all Xbox One players.

I used to play a lot of gears of war 1. I loved raven down with the shotgun. The feel of this game is just like gears 1. Horde mode is awesome and multiplayer is great. Haven't tried campaign but heard good things about it.

Being the fourth game in the Gears franchise the story compelled me right from the start. It's a welcome addition and a return to form for Gears. I've always loved the single player but the multiplayer is phenomenal also!!!

A great game! I was concerned for a little bit on a new team making the game, but man they did a great job. The story though short is done well and the characters are done great. I am looking forward to more in the series.

As a long time Marcus Phoenix fan, I was a bit skeptical of this game. However, it has proven to be a great new step for the franchise. I think all gamers should give this a play through even if you are new to the series.

It's a challenging game but it's worth it, especially if you've been a Gears fan from day one. There might not be a Dom or a Cole anymore but what this game lacks in characters, it more than makes up for with the gameplay.

I’ve played all the other gears of war games, this one was awesome but I would’ve liked a better story.

Been a huge fan of gears since the first game and I'm happy this latest one did not disappoint at all. Great transition to the current generation of hardware. I love the free gears mug that came with preordering as well.

Gears of War never disappoints. Excellent story mode.
