I previously played Gears ultimate edition and this feels very familiar to that as far as gameplay. Great graphics supported my good voice acting and serviceable combat gameplay.

This game has all the action and gore of past Gears games. The visuals and set pieces set the tone for this game Plus the new enemy types are cool.

Game was purchased after friends said it was great - and they were not even CLOSE to wrong. Really love the character development and game play. You will not be disappointed.

Gears of War 4 lives up to its predecessors in multiplayer and in single player. Plus great graphics. Micro transactions are not the best thing but you don't have to buy them.

I really like it gives you playback on all the gears of war games. A mission on each and its really fun to play. runs smooth and looks great. Was hesitant but im glad i got it.

A good game for the series, a really long download time. Worth the wait

This game is definitely not as good as the originals. The story is lack luster, the characters are generic so you don't care for them, and then there are sections of the game where it forces you into a type of horde mode where you have to fortify your defenses which wasn't in another other Gears of War game (besides Judgement which I hate). It's not a bad game but if you're looking for the spirit of the old games you won't find it here. Then to top it all off, the ending sucks!!!!! I was like where is the rest of the game but knowing game developers these days they will probably force you to buy DLC to find out the rest of the story instead of including it in the actual game! Very disappointed....

Briefly, this is a good game and well done. If you're a fan of the GoW series, I think you will pleased with this addition. As a long time player of GoW, I felt 4 stayed within the lines of the series, but didn't branch out enough. It has a very linear feel, scripted and obvious combat points. I also felt the combat in general was very mediocre. Nothing really exciting or new and refreshing. The weapons all felt the same and no real way to discern where you hit the enemy or what damage you're doing with one over the other. Like I said, it's a good game I just wish they took some more risks in adding to the already successful formula that is GoW. If you're a fan, you'll probably dig it. If you are a newcomer to the series, it is still an interesting, graphically impressive, fun game. Maybe wait until it is not full price to give it a go if money is an issue.

I was glad that another GOW was out. I played single and multi and just couldn't get into it. Since there was no real NEW in the game. I see alot of my friends enjoy playing this. Personally I wasn't paying enough attention. It's a good game no doubt.

If you have enjoyed the previous Gears of War games then you should enjoy this one. Nothing groundbreaking but still an enjoyable game.(With new characters to play as).

This is one of the best looking games currently on the xbox one. A must have if your in to shooters that have bullet damage.I can't stand shooters now that lack what we had in games years back.

Nowadays games don't come with local coop gameplay but I'm glad there's still at least one great game that offers it. Enjoyable game to play either campaign or multiplayer.

This is another Gears game. If you played any other and enjoyed it, you should enjoy this one. A cool feature is that you can now game, cross-platform, with PC gamers. Also, the HDR looks great in this game if you have a TV & Xbox that supports it.

Another heart clinching action packed game by epic games. It's nice to have Mr Phoenix back too! You're going to love this game. The graphics...sound....storyline are great!

The first game that supports HDR does not let down. This game is beautiful. As always, the mechanics of this game have improved from the latest game and plays very smooth. The story is fun but like in Gears: Judgement, it has multiple moments where you have to fight off incoming enemy waves which I feel detracts from what can be a longer, more in depth story. Its great fun and I know gears has always been about that "horde" mode but I feel that's what held the game back. Gears 4 continues to break through what we can imagine in the gears world and while using the latest most beautiful tech, it is definitely worth buying.

Gears of war 4 is a great game with tons of options. Single player, Horde mode, and tons of online play. The game plays just as good if not better than the previous 3 games.

Got the game while on sale. I think it's great how it came with GoW 4 and all it predecessors meaning GoW: 1,2,3 and judgement. Game wise it's a bit of a slow paced for my liking but I do enjoy the story, weapons and multiplayer customization.

5* to Best Buy crew at Fairfax City VA. Sticker was $60, salesperson mentioned may be on sale. It was $30. Steal for checking one off the Xmas list and he loves the game.

I have been playing the series since the first game released. In this release they added horde and plenty of new characters and skins. Will be playing this game for hours!!
