I have been a Gears fan since the original and have played all but Gears Judgment and have to say that this game is one of the best. It has a great campaign that feels new but also scratches your nostalgia itch if you played any of the original trilogy. The Horde mode is also great this time around and is a blast to play. I never really liked the multiplayer of gears but from what I'm told it's also the best of the series this time around as well.

Love the game, played the game from the old XBOX 360 during high school years, now in college. Have all the collection on my XBOX One S, highly recommend to play!

A great continuation of the series. The co-op campaign is great for those that aren’t into multiplayer. Teaching my son the fun of FPS games is easy with each on our own XBox.

If you're looking for an awesome game to try out on your 4k monitor or tv this is a great game to do it with. Graphics are impressive when running on UltraHD 4k HDR settings.

Bought this on Black Friday for 15.00 and it came with all the previous gears of war games Can’t beat getting 5 gears of war games for 3 dollars a piece for the Xbox one

Being new to the Xbox community I knew I had to get the new gears of war. So far this game is awesome. The multiplayer and campaign are both great. I wasn't sure if I would like the 3rd person since I'm usually a 1st person gamer but I hardly even notice anymore. What I didn't know when purchasing is you get the 4 previous gears of war free with this game which I will be downloading as soon as I completed this one.

My favorite xb1 game hands down this year. Just as good as the previous ones in my opinion. Best part is you get a code for the first 4 games for free.

Great game. Had this game for a bit now and it’s pretty good. The coalition has kept supporting it through the time and is very active with the fan base feedback.

On ultra difficult mode can be very very challenging. This is an amazing development of the Gears of war franchise. story line is really well developed and keeps the player in suspense and wanting more all the time whilst engaging in some fast action fist person shooter game. I just wish that campaign mode on non live play would accommodate more than two players on multiple screens - the technology is there !!!

Well priced during black Friday. We've had a ton of f uhh n playing this game. My 8 year old son thinks it's a great improvement over past games in the series.

Gears of War 4 is one of the nicest games I've ever seen. Especially with the XBox One X enhancements, this is definitely the type of game you get to play infront of your friends and make them jealous of your XBox one X. Fun game.

Gears of War series has always been a hit on the Xbox! The release of gears I bought also included all the previous gears of war game which is a great value!

If you liked gears 1-3 you're going to like this one. I'm not really huge on multiplayer for this series but I really enjoy playing the campaign and this new horde mode they have. They didn't do a whole lot of innovation for the game but sometimes I think it's better to stick to the formula that works while adding a bit of your own to it. I've only played the horde mode a few times but had fun with the class system and working with a bunch of people to survive. A bonus for buying this game is you get the other 4 that came out before it as well.

My expectations were high for this game and I wasn't let down. They haven't messed this franchise up like the COD games did. This is pure GOW and it's great. The graphics are superb and the game play with the new enemies and weapons is top notch. Horde mode is back along with multiplayer. I'm really enjoying the campaign. I highly recommend this game for Gears of War fans. You won't be disappointed.

The campaign was awesome, great story. The online play was okay until the pc merger. Made it extremely difficult to enjoy.

The Gears franchise has not dissapointed with this installment in the series. Arguably the best one in terms of mechanics and competitive multiplayer.

I've played all the gears games this is an excellent addition to the series especially since you can play both on of and console with the same purchase.

This game takes me back to the old gears of war. So glad they packed the previous games with it. Loved the graphics. They are out of this world

The campaign is really good especially at the end. I will say it was pretty meh at the beginning I thought stop playing if a Gabe is initially lackluster but it opens up pretty quickly, after that it just keeps getting better as better. Horde mode is a blast and multiplayer is one of the best. If you need some gears to wash out the atrocity that was judgement look no further.
