this was my first time playing gears of war and it was well worth the wait. wished i played it earlier. looks even better on the xbox one x

This looks like a great addition to one of Xbox's most beloved franchises. Everything I've seen looks fantastic. Hope it lives up to my expectations.

Excellent game, especially as a two-player experience. The game references heavily on the first 3 games so I would suggest playing them first if possible (the game comes with all 3 as a digital download!). This game is a steal for the price since you are getting 4 games in 1 purchase (Gears of war 1, 2, 3 and 4). Would recommend to anyone who loved Gears of War 3!

This game is just what you expect. Awesome graphics and cinematic with plenty of shooting, explosions and gore! Great way to blow off some steam for a few minutes or dedicate some time to the campaign.

I personally don’t know much about today’s video games; as my experience has been with old school Atari, Nintendo’s, and the very 1st PlayStation. But my 13 yr old is a satisfied gamer with this one!

Gears of war 4 is the highest tier of quality on the xbox from developer the coalition. Horde mode is back, and the campaign introduces some new faces and is very well written. The gameplay is smooth and still the best cover based shooter around. Gears 4 doesn't disappoint and is a must have for any xbox fan.

This is a great continuation of the GoW franchise. Fans who love the series will not be disappointed. Great start of a new trilogy.

kick back and see the future of COG. If you a diehard Gears of War fan, you need to play this one, it tells the story of the young COG...now...long after the original 4 games. Really enjoy the story line. GOW isnt for everyone. You can easily pickup where you left off. but the game does consume you. excellent graphics, visualizations and story is quite good.

Never played gears of war before but bought this on a whim and I love it. The graphics, story and action are great.

This is so far my favorite gears of war game in the while series, a lot of hours of game play in the Campaign and Online

If you've never played Gears of War, well good because this comes with all of them and you should play all of them before you play this one so you know the story. But holy bananas what a game. Graphics are good, not the best I've seen on a next gen console but still really good. The story is just as great as all of the other games. Multiplayer keeps you engaged and provides enough modes so that you won't get bored easily. Buy it and enjoy it as much as I do.

As a Gears of War game it is pretty good, my point of reference is the Gears of War Collection and this is on par with the later Gears games. Recommend for those who have an Xbox One.

Gears of war is always a must have ! And this one came back with all previous games and some maps. Always fun to play!

One of the best action games ever! If you haven't played the other 3 Gears games, play them first to continue the story.

This game is great. So far I'm about half way through the game and the graphics are very good. This game brings back a lot of memories from the previous games. The story is keeping me entertained and I can't wait to see what happens. I like that they added waves during the campaign, that's probably one of my fav's regarding new features.
