Gears at its best. Cool new enemies, enhanced graphics, fun new things to do, horse mode is 50 challenging stages of MAYHEM!! New to the series or picking up where they left off, it's a great game to pick up.

The game follows the same formula as the previous games. Tickers are now trackers, wretches are now juvies, and brumaks are now swarmaks. Thanks to Microsoft and Halo, gears also has the rail gun!!! So pretty much the same game as before with slightly better graphics. Geared toward millenials!

My favorite game of 2016. The single player game is fantastic and the multiplayer modes are also wonderful. Even if you do not like playing multiplayer competitive, the cooperative Horde Mode is so much fun.

I purchased this game while it was on sale and I must say I was quite pleased at the graphics and game play. The story line is very familiar as is all first person shooters. The play is smooth and my kids also love it. I never buy games at full price but this would have been almost worth it.

If you’ve played any of the previous Gears games then you’ve played this one, at least as far as the single player campaign is concerned. That being said, it is still an entertaining and quality experience. Just don’t expect anything shockingly new.

good game. no locust. no 4 player co op. okay story

I purchased this for someone. Recently played this in split screen w/family...crazy fun! Still looks great and different (vs COD type shooters). Get this & play coop split screen.

This entry into the franchise doesn't reinvent the wheel in any drastic way. Its the same old clunky heavy moving combat. The campaign leaves something to be desired. The multiplayer is well balanced fun, now with a focus on MLG. Nothing amazing here but it's a solid addition to the series

great game. will be playing for hours . there lots to do in the in it so dont think once the main story line is over the game is done. PVP is really good new maps are great love the gears of war franchise

Awesome Game. I love all the gears of war games. This game is great on xbox one. Graphics look great and multiplayer is awesome and rund 60fps. The story could be better, but co-op campaign is great online.

This game is an amazing edition to the series. It's worth the pickup if your a true fan or barley getting into the game, I suggest new gamers to the title to play gears of war 1 or watch some videos first.

If you like the other 4 (I included Judgement because I enjoyed it), then you will like this one. Very similar to the rest as far as gameplay goes. Ton of content like most of the rest of the series.

I was surprised when we opened the box and found a code for the first 4 games. The game itself plays fast and has great graphics. I'm older than my son and has some difficultys controlling my guy. I don't like the vantage point from the shooting it's a view from Over you're shoulder.

If you own an Xbox One this game is a must have. It doesn't disappoint. I am glad that Microsoft brought this franchise before someone else did. It's similar to gears 1-3 with a deep graphics facelift.

The game looks and plays great with tons of good multiplayer modes to choose from. The story is solid and it's nice how they tie this new game into the old gears lore. The story felt very short and almost unfinished, wish it would have wrapped up a bit more of the story before ending.

If you are or aren't this game is a great purchase. I personally was skeptical about this game given the last Gears wasn't all that great but this is definitely a breathe of fresh air for this series.

Finally put my hands on this excellent game. Have been waiting for so long especially after the delay. Great graphic, unbeatable gameplay, fun and challenge achievements. So much fun. Highly recommend!

Haven't put much time in, but so far it's been fun. The wife and mother it in local co-op mode, which was a big plus as most Xbox games are single player locally. Ga!E play and action is good. The buttons can be a little complex at first depending on what you are coming from.

A new Gears game set 25 years after the last one. Visuals are good, and made even better in 4K HDR. Story is OK, and nice to see some familiar faces. Multiplayer is fun with the excellent Horde mode. They didn't reinvent the wheel, but it is fun, especially If you are a Gears fan.

Was as much fun playing at the first two Gears of War video games. Online play is great as well. The micro achievements get a little annoying after a while but it doesn't take away from the game play.
