Gears of War 4 plays just like the original games, it is fun, has a very heart felt storyline, and makes for a rather challenging experience, also has great replay value. Multiplayer is good and familiar to me.

campaign is great and multiplayer is fun as well. worth it

I've been a fan since Gears of War on the XBOX360 and this game is my favorite since the first. The gameplay in the campaign and multi-player is a mix between gears 1 and gears 3 which makes for hours of fun.

I love this game and they did a great job making it feel like an updated version of the first gears. Have not finished campaign yet but Insane difficulty truly is insane, which is why I haven't beaten it yet.

Gears of War 4 is among the best in the franchise, though Gears 3 will always hold a special place in my memories of gaming Gears 4 feels like a very good successor and is a good setup for possible sequels.

Can't wait to play it's going to be an awesome game

Never actually played the old gears games. Got this for the new Xbox One S and it is the most visually appealing game ever with the HDR and 4k support. Really great story and multiplayer is always a blast.

I am am big Gears of War fan and have been waiting for this release. This version is excellent. I like to play Horde and they made some great changes to keep the game interesting. Well worth the purchase!

I have liked all the previous Gears games. While Gears 4 doesn't break new ground, it is fun and offers some decent storytelling while allowing you to kill plenty of evil robots and Locust like enemies.

so this is the first xb1 game with HDR and looks wonderful. Haven't finished the campaign yet but running it with a friend and so far the story is great and if your a fan of gears should be enjoyable.

This is quite possibly the best gears of war since the original gears of war. It Brings back some of the elements that made all the gears games fun and mashes them into one. Cole train baby whoaaaaaa

This game is awesome! They totally delivered a great gears game! I'm playing it on insane difficulty, and still haven't beaten it yet. Multiplayer is fun. This is a must have if you're a gears fan!

If you like the original Gears than this will blow your mind. It has the same mechanics but it feels refreshed as well. Single player experience was fantastic and the multiplayer is great as well.

It doesn't really feel like a completely new game, however that is not a bad thing. I loved GOW3 and the mechanics feel the same. I play the most on horde mode and the upgrades to this are great.

My all-time favorite franchise is back and better than ever. I love the changes they've made and the campaign is awesome. But what puts this over the top is Horde. It's challenging and very fun.

Definitely manages to recapture some of the magic from the original; gameplay never stutters and the cut scenes are well done for the most part. Definitely a must-purchase for fans of the series

Do yourself a favor and play gears of war 4. However, play the original trilogy first, this one will make so much more sense. It's definitely not earth shakingly different but it's a good thing.

This game is a great addition to the gears of war franchise! The coalition did a great job of taking the classic gears of war feel and update it to today's standards. This game is simply amazing

Gears of war is one of my favorite franchises in video game history and this is exactly what I wanted. Above all else, the multiplayer component is probably the strongest in the game's history.
