After a long wait there is finally a new Gears game for the XB1. Great story, gameplay and multiplayer. A must have for xbox owners!

Campaign was good from start to finish. Horde keeps you coming back for more and multi-player is still as good as the others

I picked this title because I wanted to experience an Xbox exclusive to showcase what my new Xbox One X could deliver. I have not been disappointed. Visually stunning and a highlight of my collection!!

First of all. The game is the same as gears 1 - 3 game series. Story is great. Multiplayer is fun to play with friends.

This game looks, sounds and plays smoother than ever! The story mode feels like a movie, and online feels like a war!

Best gears in a long time. Story is very compelling and visual are beautiful. But Multi-player is where it shines.

If you love Gears of War, then this is a must buy. The gameplay, graphics, multiplayer and campaign are all the best yet of the series. That being said, the ultimate edition IS NOT worth the price of admission. I admit, I failed to do my homework on what the season pass (included with this edition, hence the price increase) included before purchasing, so that's on me. All of my past experiences with season passes meant that you were buying all the game DLC that will be coming out in the game, generally in the form on MP maps/etc. That IS NOT the case with this game. All of the MP maps will be free to all players, and will be released in a rotation (from what I understand). So, you must be wondering what the season pass includes? You get to have all of the DLC maps available at all times (even after they are out of rotation) for private matches and horde mode. Personally, this doesn't match my needs/expectations of what such a high priced (or any, for that matter) season pass should include. I don't play private MP matches, and could care less about Horde mode. Now, that's not the only difference in the ultimate edition...you also get a steel case instead of plastic one that the game comes in, as well as a couple in game packs for weapon skin/character/XP bonus card...that's a whole other mess in and of itself...it doesn't bother/affect the overall game for me, so it's not a negative as far as the core game is concerned. GoW4 get's a full five stars from me; however, the ultimate edition is a complete waste of money (IMO). I say pick up the standard edition and enjoy an amazing game.

This bring back and play as Marcus's Son, it so excellent game and all story, multiplayer so fun.
