Great game in the series. Graphics, gameplay and story are incredible. High replay value.

The multiplayer is awesome, although the single campaign is great too, it's just to short.

If you played the gears series then you'll love this game for the multiplayer and the whole new redefined horde. they created classes so now everyone has a specific job and benefits from it. ive never had a problem with loading or any glitches at all. haven't had any problems either trying to get in the game or getting kicked either. Plenty of DLC content and they've brought back some classic maps as weel

Great game. The campaign is good story. Multiplayer is fun and has a variety of modes.

Still the gears team gets it right this classic cover and shoot genre. I do find this gears to be a bit harder than the others as it has new monsters that can cause instant death once you play on insane. If you want to see the old crew of Marcus, Baird and Cole, then this isn't the purchase for you. The game centers around Marcus's son J.D. and his friends Del and Kait, which was a bit disappointing for me. Cover could be a little better in the game as you find once playing on insane; the AI have been transformed to one kill wonders in this difficulty. With all that being said, still a great game and worth a try.

Gears has always been my favorite Microsoft franchise and number 4 does not disappoint. I haven't finished the campaign yet, but what I have played has been very entertaining. The best thing about this game for me will always be the multiplayer though, and Gears 4 delivers in spades. Horde mode is back and better than ever, and the new skill and bounty system is a great, and addictive, addition.

It's been years since we've all been waiting for a good Gears. As Judgement was a huge disappointment. The visuals are gorgeous and gameplay is as seamless as ever. My only gripe with the game is that its only 2-Player Co-Op Campaign as oppose to 3-4 like we had in the past. There's plenty of replay value and more maps yet to come. Definitely one of the best Gears in quite sometime!

Ordered physical instead of digital for the nice cup, coaster and metal artbox. Game itself is great, the Coalition has really done the franchise justice. Campaign is great, and the graphics and special effects are the best I have seen on Xbox One. Add in horde mode, the multiplayer, and all the other games in the series, and its a great deal. Very happy with the purchase!

If you're looking for more Gears, then this is it. The weather system is a very cool addition, but outside of that, this game sticks very close to the Gears comfort zone, without taking too many chances with new features or gameplay elements. The story is OK, but not as good as Gears 1 or 2. Gameplay is rock solid otherwise, with a good frame rate, and a solid engine. Horde mode is fun, but the DLC model leaves a lot to be desired and is very expensive. Earning tokens needed for Horde mode success is very lopsided to playing MP over Horde mode, which makes no sense at all.

A fantastic return to the Gears of War universe after the mediocre GOW:Judgement. Even tho the storyline gameplay is basically the same as prior games the new storyline is interesting and moves things forward. We get just enough story to intrigue us to find out more in the next chapter. Horde mode is BACK! So much fun and quite the challenge. Highly recommend GOW4!

Okay so all gears of war games have been awesome, everyone of them with an amazing story that continues one after the other.so gears of war 4? I have no idea. Owned the game since release date and have yet to play campaign. Why? Because the multiplayer is awesomeeeeeeee! That's all I do with this game. King of the hill. Guardian. Epic executions. Man this game rocks!
