The campaign is pretty great, multiplayer is even better. Executions are even more gory than before.. which is great if you're a fan of this franchise.

I loved it! I was afraid that this sequel would feel very forced since the game ended at the end of the third one. However, they made a great story and leave it open for more sequels. The new hoard is fantastic and the online play is great. Gears fans must play this game, but it is also a OK place to start the gears franchise if you have not played them before.

Gears of war is great gaming franchise and if you've enjoyed any of the previous games you will enjoy this one the graphics are as good as they've ever been and same goes for the single player campaign and multiplayer my only real complaint is the matchmaking can take a while and breaks up the lobby after each game this forces me to play a variety playlist as opposed to the game mode I want the hit detection can also be a little inconsistent in PvP but not enough to ruin the fun definitely worth it if you're a fan of gears of war or third person cover shooters

Fantastic story that looks amazing that has plenty of hours to play!

After completing all the other Gears games, grabbing all the achievements along the way, I was worried that Gears 4 wouldn't live up to what Gears is to gamers and the worst thing any developer could do is get rid of the characters we have grown to love. Gears 4 has surpassed my expectations and have made this game an instant replay again and again game!

Awesome game, looks great, story was interesting, love horde mode

Always loved gears, and I'm glad they brought back Horde Mode. Not much has changed in the way of game play though, loads slow and horrible lag.

Graphics and story are amazing and cant stop playing this game

After many years of Peace a new threat emerges & a new Team of Gears will take the stand to fight for Sera & its people. The Coalition delivers with Gears of War 4 with its awesome Campaign & intense new Horde 3.0. Multiplayer sucks & is dissapointing as always with nothing but Run N' Gun Noobs with Gnashers. Overall i give Gears 4 a 9 out of 10.

This is by far the best of the series. But, if you've played prior games, don't expect a stray from the old. It's the same play by play and the same multiplayer. That is definitely not a bad thing. If you are a GamerZone member, just pick this one up with your discount. The Steelbook is pretty and you get the prior games for free via download.

This game is a great new addition! I like it better than part 3 and part 2 but of course not better than part 1. Horde mode is better and all of it overall a step in the right direction for this franchise. My favorite addition is the androids, kind of make me feel like a Terminator game. Biggest complaint, the new maps I'm not very fond of.

Gorgeous graphics, varied weapons, awesome multiplayer fun.

I would say overall the game is entertaining and a lot of fun if your a fan of the series. Most sequels aren't as good as the first but Gears of War has aged well. Great smooth controls and wonderful graphics as always!

Classic fun game, both player verse player and campaign.

I will start off by saying wow... what a campaign! The movement in this game is fluid, the combat feels like an improvement over older Gears games, and I can't seem to stop playing it. I think The Coalition has done a great job for their first true iteration into the Gears of War series. This doesn't mean the game doesn't come without its quirks, though. Currently, Versus matchmaking can take up to 3 minutes or longer to find and connect to a match. Once you do connect, you run into the issue of people disconnecting for whatever reason, whether intentional or not. Lastly, the gear packs, which are the only source to unlocking cosmetic items and bounties, are in a current nightmarish state. Backed with micro-transactions, you can still acquire these items with an in-game currency you earn, called Credits. The issue is the rate at which you earn these and the amount you need to acquire cosmetic-only packs. All of this being said, it is early in the ball game and Gears of War 4 is in a better state than most games this time from their initial release. I give Gears of War 4 a 5 star review because the game is still great amidst its flaws.

This game reminds you of the original in so many ways, though, a lot more humor from a younger generation. The game play is spot on, this is a GEARS of WAR game. I have to give Coalition a lot of credit. The later part of the game is the most awesome and I cant wait to play more future installments. I approve this message.

If you're a gears of war fan. This is an awesome game. Online game play is great as well. Can't go wrong with this game.
