truly a faithful conversion to the xbone, graphics are looking better than ever in HD without losing the essence of what made GOW an awesome xbox exclusive, must have for any die hard fan or anyone who missed the last generation of great xbox originals

It's everything a Gears game should be and more. Awesome remake of the original gears and you get access to the Gears 4 beta. Plus you get all the Gears of War games on Xbox 360 when backwards compatibility is available. Well worth the $40 price tag!!

Gears of War ultimate is the best version of the original you could buy.for the price and fact that you get all the xbox 360 gears of wars is a great incentive to take a dive.this version also includes stages not available in the original 360 release,so there something new even for the diehard gears fans.overall good game.

One of the best multiplayer games of all time. Seasoned gears of war veterans will already know what to expect. Good: A solid campaign and intense online gnasher battles now in 1080p and 60fps. Bad: Hit detection can be spotty and inconsistent.

Wow the remastered version looks amazing. Looks way different than original in a good way. Controls are fluid and the multiplayer is pretty good. Haven't received my code for the gow series on xbox 360 yet but hoping they will come soon.

If you like the original version you will be amazed with this remaster. The upgraded graphics looks astonishing especially for an old game; the multiplayer feels fresh even when is not new. One of the best xbox exclusives so far. Go for it

With the exception of Judgement, I've spent significant time with all the other Gears games. This version plays largely like the original while fine tuning a lot of the movement which removes some of the clunkiness the original had when it released almost 10 years ago. On the campaign side, I've gotten through the first few acts and it's every bit as good as it was back then with significantly improved visuals and response time. For multiplayer, the learning curve is high yet again and using the gnasher well takes some getting used to even if you've played the others. My only real complaint about the MP is the way the maps cycle, I usually play KOTH and not all maps are cycled on every game mode so I often find myself playing the same 3 or 4 maps while never getting a chance to play on Mansion, one of my favorites. I believe the developers are currently addressing this however so hopefully soon that will no longer be an issue. Regardless, if you're a fan of the Gears series then $40 for this is a no brainer to hold you over until Gears 4 arrives next year.

Same great game as before, only much better. If you are a GoW fan, you owe it to yourself to get this. It's worth it!! Graphics are great, it's much smoother, and the multiplayer is as fun as always when you are playing with friends.

I was pumped when this game was announced. I had to pre order it to make sure i got my copy day one. I'm glad the price was 40 and not higher than that. The detail is amazing, the games like 50 times better than the xbox 360 version.

Having played the original game many years ago, I was extremely excited to play the Ultimate Edition. I'm glad to say that it lives up to every hope I had! The game is beautiful, it sounds good, and the gameplay is still just as fun!

Played this when it first came out. Now on Xbox one with the improved graphics it's so much fun all over again. Also at the sale price offered by BestBuy this was a steal.. Great game and fantastic deal by BestBuy. Win win.

Graphics greatly improved for xbox one as it is a lot brighter and more detailed. Have no connection problem whatsoever during MP and the 60fps looks awesome. Single player is great as well. Takes me back to the early 360 days.

This remaster is absolutely stunning! 60FPS makes the game play wonderfully! This game brought back so many memories when I first got an Xbox 360 and cannot wait for gears4 to come out! It's a great low price on a great game.

BEST XBOX SERIES GAMES EVER MADE! Never have I played an XBOX game or series that captivates a story with excellent weapons and gameplay to keep me focused and interested throughout. Hands down the best series ever created!

This game is great at 60fps and looks great the replay value is there in multiplayer while not being the best gears its still a good game nontheless I giive it 5 stars for sole reason of all the gears games that come with it

I remember thinking this game was stunning back on Xbox 360.. Wich each new generation of gaming consoles and improved graphics I am simply blown away. Absolutely gorgeous game, with a story ranking with the all-time greats.

Awesome game, this is how you do a remaster! The graphics look gorgeous and the gameplay continues to be incredible. The multiplayer is also very good and nice to play with friends. One of the best Xbox exclusive games!

This is an awesome game. Great story and characters. The split screen for multiplayer works well but it can be a little hard to see all the detail of the game. (Could just be a result of not having the biggest TV though)

This is a great remake to the xbox 360 version. The graphics look beautiful, and the added chapter (only available for pc till now) is a nice extra for those of us that only play the 360 version.The AI of the game could have use some polishing as it is noticeable worse than the original.

Although I don't usually recommend buying a re release of a game, Gears of War Ultimate packs just enough content into it to make this an exception to my rule. With updated graphics "1080p" and 60 fps"multiplayer" along wth all the map packs ever made, it just might be worth picking up.
