Drone showed up in a worn out dji box but all the parts intact in great condition. Based on other reviews I guess it is a role of the dice on what you get, but Best Buys return policy is one of the best. So even if mine didn't show up perfect I could just return it and try again. If you were on the fence about this just consider the fact that this is cheaper than used ones on eBay but you also get your guaranteed money back if you have any issues. 100% worth it. For the drone itself- it is fast, picture is great, and the build quality is far better than expected based on my dji mini. Great buy. Just wish extra batteries werent so much

I bought one of these after reading the reviews. The first one was missing the unique cable that goes from the battery to the headset so the device wasn’t unusable. We returned that purchase to the store. The second one came with everything and was in much better condition. Both drones had “last video footage” saved in them from the Best Buy refurbishing center and the people who worked on these units last before they were purchased. If Best Buy reads this I’d suggest having a checklist for items like this to improve the experience of those buying “geek squad certified” refurbished items. It makes geek squad look like they have no idea what they are doing. Overall the drone works great. My son enjoys it and he ordered the battery kit that has 2 more batteries and charges all 3 (each one charges one at a time but they can all be connected). If you’re wanting to learn FPV or even learn how to fly a drone this one allows you to do both and the refurbished price is great if you’re willing to buy a few of them until you get one in great shape and return the one that shouldn’t have passed the refurbished test.

I’ve wanted to dip my toes in DJI’s version of the FPV drones but hesitated spending that much on something that I was probably going to crash. Saw the price for Best Buy’s refurbish option but got cold feet after reading some of the negative reviews. Some people were saying Best Buy wouldn’t let them return theirs or that things were missing. I spoke with Best Buy asking if they’d let me return it if it were missing original items and they said yes. So I pulled the trigger on this and am happy I did. It came in the original packaging and included all accessories packed just like it came from the factory. Mine had 3 charge cycles on the battery (after my own charge) so this this was brand new. Flew it last night and had a blast! It’s definitely a different animal.

I was never disappointed like this. Even though low rates I wanted to give a shot to this regarding there’s some people got fine product but mine was absolute opposite. Where should I start, we’ll they threw everything in the box so it was a total mess, came with missing all antennas, heavily damaged propellers, dust everywhere, broken parts, dirty, just check the photos please and tell me I am overreacting. Even though manager I showed at Best Buy store couldn’t believe it and he said sorry many times. I wonder who is doing these quality checks because he should get fired and I’m serious. I just trusted Best Buy like I always was but I will never ever again buy refurbished items. If you think you’ll get lucky maybe and save couple hundred dollars trust me it’s not worth that emotional dissatisfaction.

Very pleased with my purchase. Was packed in original box as if if came from Dji. Everything was included in the box. Didn't have any issues setting up and flying. Bought this because I really wanted the Avata. Buying this and avata only worked out to be a great deal.

The drone was great and a lot of fun for the very short flight time. Unfortunately, it was just not what I needed. I wanted a more compact, travel drone. In addition, the remanufactured products are carelessly assembled. You have a good chance of having missing parts.

I opened the box and found everything as new. I was very happy after all the bad reviews I had read about Best Buy refurbished. I have flown it for about two weeks and am super impressed with its performance.

Great product. Camera quality can be better, but drone flies pretty good and lots of fun to operate.

Overall good quality. All accessories are included. It’s definitely a daunting task to get comfortable flying this drone over a standard DJI drone.

Item works and runs fine, sometimes I have a hard time extracting the vids and pics from the drone or goggles itself.

This is what you get, a barely taped up box with holes in it, parts just dumped in the box, several pieces dented and broken because there is no packing material. I can't believe this is something that best buy would ship!!! Taking it right back to the store after I leave this feedback.

Got with a dent in the goggles but didn’t effect the product at all and I got a huge discount, was super happy with my purchase

should have listened to my gut when buying this. im always the unlucky one when it comes to gambles like this. Best Buy you should be ashamed of your certified refurbished product's. this is totally carless and uncalled for it would have take someone 2min to look through this box and keep it from disappointing someone else.

I picked this up today (4/25) and opened it in store to make it worked, guy said id have to wait a day to bring it back even if it was broken. Not a big deal, charged it up some and flew it earlier with no problems. The last video saved to the goggles was the refurbisher testing it in their warehouse. Ok let's get to the actual review. The drone came thrown in the box but was in excelent condition and only had smudges from the fingers of the person who previously had it. The controller, goggles, and drone were already bound together. Im assuming the drone is still registered to the previous person, I'll have to contact DJI about that. All of the cables necessary were provided except for otg cable to connect the phone to the goggles. Flew great no issues whatsoever. I've used best buy refurbished in the past for other items and had good luck, but even if yours comes messed up or missing essential items, just return it, get your money back, and get another one. I'm sure if you explain the situation to someone at your best buy they will understand.

The drone arrived missing several components including battery, charging cable, and head strap. The item was refurbished but showed significant signs of use including several scratches, the box the drone and accessories was packed in was a DJI box but it didn’t correctly hold all the components. Pretty disappointing and the DJI box was taped with masking tape.

Compared to other fpv drones this one is great. The head set is awesome and the drone is fast

I read all the bad reviews here and thought I'd take a chance. When I was at the store picking up the item I thought I'd check it out before I left the store. The drone was just thrown in the box and everything was dirty. It was missing the goggles antennas and the goggles battery as well as some cords. The blades were warped and dirty. I don't think anyone looked at this let alone refurbished it. To top it all off I had to wait an hour for my receipt to enter the system before I was able to return it.

Quite the upgrade from the mavic air. Everything was in the box that it would normally come with. It looked brand new! Everything connected, and it flew awesome right out of the box. I saved a ton of money buying it refurbished knowing i would get all buck wild and crash it anyway, which i did 5 min into the first flight. It fell 15 feet out of a tree, this drone can take some punishment. Since then I have practiced, learned how the drone feels, and have managed to get some good shots with this drone.
