Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. The entire MacBook Pro including the screen was in flawless condition and the battery only had 44 cycles with a 93% maximum charging capacity.

It is very hard to find M1 Pro and M2 pro after the launch of M3 series. And this was just perfect. Perfect pricing for a beast of machine. I have no complains whatsover. No physical damage. After cleaning with a fabric towel, just like a new. Same with the charger, it was dirty at first, used sanitized to clean and same as new. The mac has no problem in the os as well. So many lifecycles to go in battery as well. Just Love it.

My unit seems to be in great shape with only 7 battery cycles. I am only taking away a star because I was sent the wrong charger cable as it says USB-C to Magsafe but I got a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Very quick operating and runs Logic Pro X nicely. This is my 4th macbook. First was the Macbook Pro in 2008, and I’m happy w/ how consistently it runs especially when tasked w/ MIDI instruements and audio recording. Highly recommend.

It will come with the laptop and charger, no box. Expect signs of wear on the keyboard. My aluminum body was slightly dented on the top case and had a ding right edge. Overall, this was the performance I was looking for at a $1400 price point. An M1 Pro with 16 gbs of RAM is a great choice in 2023.

The MacBook Pro M1 14-inch from Best Buy continues to impress a year later. It looks like new, cable is clean, charger has little scratches but it’s 97W. There is only exception - packaging only comes with durable plastic bag and I wanted proper box. Anyway, Highly recommended with a 5/5 rating.

I ordered Geek Squad Certified Refurbished MacBook Pro 14" Laptop - Apple M1 Pro chip - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Space Gray Model: TI-GSRF MKGP3LL/A but instead i received 13" macbook air. The shipping box also arrived damaged from fedex. NEVER ORDERING GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED REFURBISHED. The serial number label outside the box matches the laptop. They probably sent my laptop to someone else or they trying to scam me.

I don’t normally write reviews but I can definitely say that my experience should be shared with everyone. If you are looking to by REFURBISHED from GEEK SQUAD, listen when I say this, DO NOT BUY. I paid close to $1,400 for the laptop so it can arrive damaged. Supposedly they do “extensive repairs” and make sure its “like new” but that is faaarrr from the truth. So, my advice, do not buy from geek squad if you are looking for refurbished. Look elsewhere.

I could hardly tell it was refurbished. Amazing condition without a scratch on it, and it functions perfectly. I played with a M4 Pro before I bought this one and there's basically no perceivable difference. Same great screen, same stellar audio, excellent performance and it's absolutely dead silent. The fan never kicks in unless I'm gaming, and even then it's barely a whisper. What a difference having owned Windows-based gaming laptops for years. The only thing that worried me out of the box was the battery health was rated at around 87%, with about 300 cycles, but in terms of real world usage it has lasted me all day. For how I use the Macbook it's been just fine. I feel like this model is the best deal in Macbooks right now and I really hope it continues to be performant for years and years. Great job, Best Buy, on your refurbished program.

I'll start with the negatives. First, I got unlucky with the selection lottery with a fairly heavily used laptop. The battery has well over 400 charge cycles and is at 85% health which is technically fine, but certainly not ideal. There was also some pretty obvious scratching on the body as well—I can't be too upset getting a used unit with less than the excellent rating, but just know not everyone gets super lucky with the state of the device. At least you can purchase the Apple Care subscription to cover a battery replacement or any other warranty work if required down the road, and it isn't too bad of a deal IMO. Secondly and most disappointing was the awful standard of cleaning my unit was subjected to. Grime, gunk, and oil in between and even on some of the key caps and some kind of adhesive on the body. I don't even expect the screen to look perfect on delivery of a used laptop, but the keyboard and body should be thoroughly cleaned even if it's well used. Delivering with a previous owner's dirt and... well, I'll stop there. I consider it unacceptable that I have to deep clean a laptop that was just delivered by a big box store. I did appreciate the shipping. Delivered in a nice, big cardboard box double padded and nondescript packaging. Other professional reviewers do a much better job of reviewing Apple's product than I will bother with here, you should know what you're buying. Apple silicon changed the computing game much for the better, and creatives will love it. My wife uses this for editing batches of ~3k photos and light gaming. The import, export, editing, and especially the UI performance is orders of magnitude better than an x86 Windows machine, even a new, powerful desktop. The M series chips deliver this performance with insanely high efficiency resulting in great battery life and the best thermals I have ever seen in a laptop, with almost no input necessary from the fans. The display is bright, color-accurate, and high resolution resulting in a great experience for a photographer even in less than ideal lighting conditions. Finally, the ports including Magsafe, thunderbolt and a very handy SDXC slot are perfect for her use. Overall I'm am pleased with the deal I got even if I lost the used device lottery a bit, and while I don't at all appreciate the state of cleanliness it was delivered in, detailing the computer before use was not the worst task in the world.

Overall chasis in great condition (no dents), and working in great condition with around 150~ battery cycles. Performance wise is still great on 2024 The only cosmetic thing is great wear on the keyboard and hence losing a star as it makes it really look much worn than actually it is. Overall good value but nothing outstanding. Great if you want to save some bucks and with the option of returning it if it does not works.

Traded in my old 2019 Intel MacBook Air and used the gift card for this beast! I do light design work and this is more than capable of getting the work done. The battery life is incredible. I took it to geek squad to have it checked over before the 15 day return policy and turns out the serial was still under manufacturers warranty so after the diagnostics and upgrade to macOS Sonoma I was able to purchase 3 year AppleCare+ for it which was a score sense this MacBook is very expensive to fix without it. Purchased in October 2023 and still happy with the purchase.

I’ve been a windows user for my entire life, now I’ve finally taken the plunge. After watching the prices of Macbooks come down (comparative to performance) I decided I was ready to try it out. I’m sad I didn’t do this sooner. The transition to Apple silicone has boosted my productivity and the battery life (I get about 5-6 hours of continuous use out of it editing photos) has been a life saver when it comes to workflow. I can do this stuff anywhere, any time and maintain a consistent product that I can be confident in delivering to clients. This machine is fast, responsive, and beautiful. The display is downright gorgeous to look at and with that comes a desire to work that has previously escaped me. This is a computer that I want to use, that I’m happy to use. I’m sure there are things I’ll grow to dislike about it, like any piece of tech, but right now I’m in the honeymoon stage and the only reason I’ll go back my windows machine is to play the occasional game. The kicker is that I could pay more for something out of Dell’s lineup or maybe a high end Asus or something, but I’ve been down that road and I’ll tell you, I think this is the better option. Plus I’m already a toe in with using an iPhone and the connectivity perks are pretty fun (instantly recognizing and connecting to hotspot, widgets, iMessage) and I find myself really appreciating it more than I thought I would.

I have been using this laptop for last 10 months. It came with original MagSafe charger, it looks like a completely new device. Compared to my old intel MacBook Air 2020, it has better screen, better battery life. It is insanely quick and cost around the same. I would recommend this product to friends and family if they are looking to buy a computer for daily office use, browsing internet or watching movies.

The MacBook Pro delivers incredible power with Apple’s M2 Pro/Max chips, a stunning Liquid Retina XDR display, and impressive 22-hour battery life. Its sleek design, versatile ports, and seamless macOS integration make it ideal for professionals and creatives. The price is great for the value it offers, making it a top choice for performance and reliability.

This MacBook Pro arrived in a box that was ripped open. The MacBook Pro was scratched, including the screen in multiple places with deep scratches. It was also covered in animal hair. Many keys had crusty grime dried on them. I had to clean it well before use. It felt like they did as little as possible to refurbish this device, even something as small as cleaning it. This laptop gets the job done and internally performs well, but because of the physical condition it arrived in, I would not purchase a refurbished device from Best Buy again. The price was just too much to not even get a wipe down. It makes me wonder if anything inside was ever maintenanced before reselling. For now, it powers on so it gets 3 stars for that.
