Needed a laptop for school/work/entertainment and I didn't need a brand new Mac, but I still wanted the 120hz display. The laptop came in great condition, no dings or scratches on the body, 90% battery life which is to be expected for a 4 year old laptop. The charger has little scratches on it but other than that it is good. I would recommend this over a m4 air in 2025.

By far the best MacBook I have ever gotten the screen is so smooth and fast em the keyboard is finally fixed and they added all the ports back I thought since refurbished it would be rather scratched but came perfect

Okay so after a week of testing, I found few things, first of all the machine working is almost good as new, I ran several battery tests and it performed the same way as a new machine would. On a stress test it lasted 3-4 hours, while on a youtube it lasted 10 hours. The unit I got had few issues, 1) if i touch the hinge when lid is closed I can see the hinge is a little bit out from the left side and the right side I can feel the gap with my finger, like someone repaired it and opened up this machine but forgot to tight the screw, its not annoying but I thought I should share it 2) the most annoying and the one that makes me angry, the trackpad, the trackpad doesn't work like a typical Macbooks, it seems they have either installed 3rd party trackpad or did something to it, the mechanical click we do on trackpad that makes the click sound and it bends a little doesn't work, its all stuck hard, like someone glued it tight, I guess thats what I got

My unit arrived in good shape with very low battery cycles. Some small dents are over the laptop but I am sure I also added some. Performance is good and I haven't ran into any issues since July.

So far, this has been an outstanding purchase. It has been exactly as promised. The battery is average at 84% capacity but working well, and that is expected for a laptop that is four to five years old. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Everyone is going to have a different experience with a refurb. I bought mine from Best Buy's eBay, but am writing here. My Macbook ended up being someone's company-assigned laptop, and in order to set it up, I would've had to accept a prompt to allows that company to have remote access. Whether or not this could be wiped from the computer, it made me uncomfortable. Three stars because Best Buy let me return in person despite buying on their eBay. Great return policy! But I think they should've looked this over more before selling it. It could be stolen, etc. I also don't like someone else's oils wearing down the keyboard, so this is the last time I will look at used Macbooks.

Cosmetically there were no marks nor damages. Excellent job that way. The 'return' key had few issues when I started using it but eventually it went away as if it was never anything to begin with. Packaging was not original, I missed out on vanity experience. But the device is functional, gets all the necessary tasks done. Value for money deal tbh but I would still prefer getting a new one instead of refurbished instead of saving couple of bucks.

it was good, the Macbook came in a typical packaging for any refurbished item, came in decent conditions, the keyboard is obviously worn but, that doesn't matter since all I care about is the performance, not the looks.

So far great, bought it 3 weeks ago. Would not have known the difference between new or refurbished if not told. Everything is in pristine condition and battery is at 97% and surprisingly great on screen hours. Would buy again in future if needed.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. Was a bit pricey when I bought it but it has been amazing for making models on Fusion 360 for 3D printing WITHOUT needing a wall outlet.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase a used laptop, but having worked with MacBooks for the last 17, I was confident in their durability. The only question would be in what kind of cosmetic and functional shape this refurbished option would be. I was pleasantly surprised. The device was received in excellent condition. The keyboard showed just the slightest bit of wear, but other than that, it looked completely new. Very glad I went this route versus buying new.

This laptop is excellent. It came as fresh from Apple Store. The cycle count was just 18. Battery health is 99%. No dent or scratches. I think this is a good deal for the price.

Looks brand new...no marks at all. Battery at 165 cycles / 90% battery health. I think I got a great deal. This is my second refurbished MacBook from Best Buy and they both have been in better than expected condition.

I upgraded from a Chromebook X360 to this and I absolutely love it. It has 4x the RAM, 8x the SSD storage, and only a scuff (bought refurbished) next to the trackpad. The Chromebook was in quite a bit worse shape. Leaps and bounds ahead. It doesn't lose 30% of it's battery overnight either, which was a huge annoyance. Very happy with my purchase.
