I found the best MacBook deal I’ve ever seen! I’d rather have this MacBook over the M4 Air. The display, battery life, ports, speakers, and power are all great. It’s perfect for my daily needs. It’s the best product I’ve ever owned!

While Beat Buy “certified refurbished” is seemingly nothing more than wiped and wiped down (if you’re lucky), other than a tiny ding on the border the computer itself looks PRISTINE. And on top of that the battery is at 99% health, though the warranty has expired (originally purchased in September 2022). At this price, especially with an additional $825 off with 14” M1 Pro trade-in, I would definitely recommend taking the gamble; because you get the same return policy as if purchased new anyway… I’m pleased.

MacBook arrived in perfect condition. No dents, no signs of use, and only 20 cycles on the battery! My only complaint is I received the space grey color rather than the silver color.

Everything looks almost brand new with 81 Cycle Counts and 94% battery. Only a small hairline barely visible scratch on outside. It's always a gamble for getting an older refurbished computer when considering the specs and the price point. A win-win in my category.

I read all the reviews here for all variants of M1 pro, and thought a couple of times before placing and order, But boy ohh boy... I hit the jackpot. No Scratches, no cosmetic usage signs, a 140watt Apple charger, and battery cycle was 33 with 100% battery health. I did trade in of my M2 air, and that made it an amazing deal. Tip - Mostly these refurbished mac's are sold out so keep checking regularly.

Computer works like a charm, looks just like new. No dents. Spotless. Got sent a 14” when I paid for a 16” though. Oh well. I guess it’s destiny telling me to wait for the M4 announcement and maybe this one will get a bigger discount? Aside from that, would’ve been 5 stars.

The laptop came dirty. The top cover was not only dirty and had traces of glue, which I spent 30 minutes removing, but also had irremovable stains (see photos). So, the exterior laptop condition is mediocre at best. Additionally, like some other buyers mentioned, the cable included does not match the item description. It wasn't a MagSafe cable, as advertised. If this is what it means to be "Geek Squad certified," unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Was Confused to switch from MacBook Air M2 to MacBook Pro M1 Pro. But I feel its worth it.

My item arrived dirty, the wrong color, and with wrong power adapter. Zero refurbishing was done besides wiping data off the unit. Do not buy any Geek Squad “Certified Refurbished” items. You will receive zero support options if there are issues with your order besides “just return it”

One star for sending the wrong charging cable and then sending me in circles when I wanted to replace it. Still haven't got a replacement. It is advertised as coming with a usb-c to MagSafe charger, mine came with a usb-c to usb-c that was yellow from overheating like it sat next to a bunch of other hot equipment. I took it back to the store after chatting with 2 different agents online and a manager said "sorry the warehouse packed it wrong." So for the trouble, they offered $30 towards a new $80 charger or I could return the whole order. She said those are my ONLY 2 options. So I pay $50 extra for their warehouse mistake or I need to return my entire order and wait for my exact model of computer to show up again to do an exchange. I get that mistakes happen in the packing & shipping process, but the resolution process is a nightmare. Better hope your order comes the right way the first time or you're wasting $$$ and hours of time.

Read multiple reviews and decided to take the gamble anyway, despite seeing some common negative feedback in the reviews. For the most part, I think I got a great deal on this laptop. I got the M1 Pro 16.2-inch 1TB storage. Pros: I got the correct size and storage capacity. There were no dents or any real damage. The screen was clean and free of damage. All the ports looked clean and not damaged. The battery was at 78 cycles, 97% of the original capacity. The laptop itself was well packaged and secure in the shipment box. Overall, the machine seems to be in great condition for the price, everything is functional and everything seems to be in excellent working order. The price was a great deal for this refurbished laptop. Cons: I received a 30W Apple-branded charger for a 16-inch laptop that is recommended to have a 140W charger, and the supplied charger is not sufficient to charge the laptop. The charger was separated from the laptop in the shipping box but it was not packaged securely and was knocking around in the box a lot. Thankfully I have an existing Apple 67W charger which seems to do the job just fine for now. There were some small scuffs on all 4 corners of the device, but truly just cosmetic and not dented or anything like that. The touchpad and keyboard were greasy/fingerprinted but easily remedied with an antibacterial wipe. Overall: Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and the excellent deal I got on this refurbished item, despite a few small issues, mostly being supplied with the incorrect charger, which is a common complaint I've seen in these reviews. Would purchase another GeekSquad refurbished product in the future!

Picked one up in like-new condition in 2025, and it exceeded my expectations. No scratches on the exterior, the screen is flawless, and even the keyboard and touchpad show minimal signs of wear. With a power cycle count of just 5, the battery health is perfect—100% max capacity and normal condition. Feels almost brand new!

Looks like it's a bit of a risk on what quality you'll get with the Geek Squad Refurbished units, but took a chance, and happy with the result. The laptop itself is in excellent / near mint condition physically. While date of purchase according to Apple was Oct 2021, it seems very well maintained or barely used. I was hoping for better batter health (87%), but can't complain given the flawless condition otherwise. Came with genuine Apple 140W charger and MagSafe3 cord too. My old Intel-based MacBook Pro was getting sketchy, so wanted to move to Apple silicon, and the M1 Pro is still a great performer.

Two stars for the price, but the MacBook itself is pretty worn out. Small scratches on the outside, shiny worn out keys on the keyboard, and 85% battery health. This should be sold as used, not refurbished. On the flip side, a previous MacBook Pro I ordered (also Best Buy refurbished) came in like new condition. I guess it's luck of the draw. I guess if you don't care about the physical condition or battery, it's still a fast machine but I'll be returning this one.

I traded in my m2 MacBook air to get this laptop. I love it so much! The screen is so much bigger and brighter, along with it having far more power , memory, and storage space for me to be able to process and keep my coding projects, without worrying about a slow down after hours of work. 10/10 amazing laptop.

quality seems hit or miss from reviews. mine was somewhere inbetween - nearly flawless cosmetically, 86% battery life is not ideal not awful, came with an inisignia 140W 2x usb-c power block instead of the Apple OEM one, and was very well packed/protected for shipping. overall for 900 dollars it was an excellent deal. warranty is pretty short, so trying to test it out thoroughly while it's covered, but no issues so far, easy setup, fast storage and network speed, more than capable graphics. you can't applecare+ these unless maybe if the previous owner covered them and did not request a refund, YMMV, but this definitely beats ebay.

Excellent value. I was nervous about the purchasing a refurbished Item, however I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product. Everything was in working order and most of all the battery health was excellent.

Looks like I hit the lottery compared to most other reviews. Laptop arrived in a well packed box with a laptop bubbler. I received exactly what was described. 16” M1 Pro 16GB/1TB Space Grey, authentic apple 140W usbc power adaptor & MagSafe cable. The MacBook did have some cosmetic wear such as a small dent on the top cover as well as the keyboard & the trackpad both show noticeable wear from usage. It’s not terrible but definitely noticeable. The MacBook only had 112 charge cycles & a 96% battery life. Battery lasts easily 18+ hours of usage on a charge for me. Started up and set it up with zero issues. Works great. YMMV

Just received my refurb MBP. It looks spank brand new. Only 7 battery cycles. Perfect condition. Well worth the money. I cannot lie. I am truly thankful best buy sent me the correct one. I read about horror stories people getting the wrong model. But I was not one of them.
