Glad I did the upgrade to this version. The screen makes a huge difference. The renew product has great value but the joy-con is a little dirty.

I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago, and overall, it was in nice condition. There was some imperfections, but I think the price made up for them. I have enjoyed using this to play my Switch games in handheld mode.

The OLED screen is almost night and day difference and the larger screen is very welcomed. If you can score a pre-owned in good condition for around $250 then it's worth the upgrade especially if you're planning to sell or give your old Switch away. If not then I would wait for the next Switch/Nintendo system because the hardware is really showing its ages.

Honestly, I was a bit scared of which refurbished item would I be getting since it seems to be purely depended on your luck. But mine was great! Joycons (white version) are not dirty. No scratch. No cracks. System all working well. The only thing is that: the battery life is not the best, but I’ve heard it’s normal for switch so I can’t hold it against anything. I’ve never owned a switch before so I can’t say if this model is better than the first switch, but I’m happy nonetheless!

If I hadn’t known this Switch was a refurb from when I ordered, I would have never been able to tell. It looked brand new, came in original packaging— absolutely flawless. Could not be more pleased. Will definitely order Best Buy refurbs in the future.
