    Total Nightmare ….Don’t Buy This Product!!!!

    Horrible Experience, wasted an entire morning/afternoon trying to connect this piece of junk! Nowhere in the immediate marketing did it specify that I needed to have a 2.4 MHz router. We are with AT&T 5 gig and Geeni’s customer service instructed me to have my provider separate my router to 2.4 and 5. With some doing I got AT&T to do it. It still wouldn’t connect. I was then told I needed to change the passwords as they could not both be the same. After an hour on the phone with AT&T, I was told that could not be done. They could only function under the same password. Now my whole WI-FI network is stuck on 2.4 rather than my 5 G speed …..what a NIGHTMARE!!!

      Hello! I can totally understand how disappointing it is if the Camera that you bought ended up not working. We want to get to the bottom of this and we would love to check this with you. All of our devices are designed to work for 2.4 GHz networks so that it can accommodate wider range since the 5 GHz that cannot penetrate walls and floors. Since most routers nowadays are dual-band, we can ask your Internet Service Provider to separate the two networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for them to have different SSID so you can connect your device to 2.4 GHz networks.     Works well. Audio is a bit poor. Doesn't pan side to side. Easy install and setup.

    Connection Issue

    The camera connects only to a 2.4 GHz signal. If your wireless router broadcasts on 2.4 and 5 (and even 6) GHz, then each channel must have a unique name. The camera cannot find the 2.4 GHz signal otherwise. Be aware of this shortcoming before you buy a camera.

    Not good set up

    I hated this product it was very hard to get started; you have to scan a QR code from your phone app and and its very difficult to line it up with the camera. Not worth the hassle. I took it back and traded it for a 360 camera witch I love a lot more.
