Best bulb for the theater room

Just follow the basic instructions and then tell them what to do. “Hey Google, turn the living room lights blue..” “Hey Google, dim the lights to 50%..” You get the point. Both the Geeni app and the Google Home app work, slightly different, but once you’re set up, you’re good to go. Plus, it’s easy to reconfigure if you need to move the lights. Oh, and you can group them.

These lamps do NOT connect to Google or Alexa

After much consternation with the Geeni BR30 Prisma Drop multi-color LED lamps, Geeni customer support has finally admitted that the product does NOT work with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa as of March 26, 2019. I have seven of these in my kitchen ceiling that I can only control via the app on my phone which is pointless. I also have five of the Geeni 1050 A19 bulbs and those DO work but not these. Their packaging does say that the bulbs will work with Google assistant and they include voice control instructions with the product but they sincerely do not function as advertised. Buy at your own risk!
