I wanted some lights below the bed, but didn't want to pay the excessive price of the Phillips lights. I pulled the trigger on the Geeni LED light strips and I I couldn't be happier. The Led strip is easy to set up with the Geeni App, also with the Google home app. I have the Google Wifi Mesh network, and I've had problems connecting devices that only use the 2.4hz band. The way I solve the setup is going outside my house with my phone watching when my wifi signal changes from 5hz to 2.4hz band then start the setup. Great Product so far, plus $45 less then the Phillips light strip.

The app that goes along with them has one of the worst user interfaces that I've ever seen which subsequently makes the lights very hard to use. The red lights did not work on my lights when I got them, along with a few other minor colors on the color wheel. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of this product especially for the price that I paid. It is also nearly impossible to connect the light strip to the internet if you have a 5GHz router that also broadcasts 2.4GHz. This was not easy to use and has a very disappointing product overall.

Best Buy will not take a return said I had to contact company. Made several calls and on hold each time, once was over 20 min just to get a message “no agents available, good-bye.” (Each time I called I got this message whether I was on hold or not). Need to have their customer service line fixed, customers can’t be on the phone all day to make a simple return. Also, for $35 this product not worth the price when it stopped working after one month of use.
