A month later I purchased another. After a few months both plugs would intermittently not link with my phone. That issue just increased in frequency and before a year was done I discarded both plugs and purchased two from TP-Link KASA. No problems ever since the switch.

I called the Geeni customer service number several times all I got was a voice mail saying leave my call back number but no return call from the customer service I even sent an email. Now I have to drive all the way back to BestBuy to return and try a different smart plug from a different company. I am not happy.

They work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home! I’m able to control devices with my voice! This is great for when I have my hands full! It can control thermostats, fans, lights, TVs, electronics, or any other appliance you use! I can set timers also! I am impressed! Thanks for an amazing product!

Great for Christmas lights

Since I already had the app set up and everything, each plug took me about 1 minute to connect to my wifi and set up in my Alexa app. Now, I can ask Alexa to "turn on the Christmas lights" and two trees, the mantel lights and a village all come on at once. The only problem I've had is one of my plugs turns off by itself randomly. I choose these plugs over other models because they are so small and only take up one outlet.
