First one died after failed firmware update. Returned for new one. 2nd one keeps rebooting when trying to sync to WiFi on normal and AP mode. Very frustrating to say the least. Tried calling phone support and get a message stating no one is available and to leave a message. I was called back but unable to pick up phone. I tried to call again and same message ‘ no one is available’. Not trying a 3rd time.

I was looking for some plug to control the Christmas lights without me having to go out and turn them on. With the Geeni wifi smart plug I can turn on the lights from inside the house as well as with my iPhone using the Alexa app.i also have the geeni app but it’s easier controlling several plugs with one app. I can also schedule it to turn on and off at a given time and given days of the week.it does lose connectivity at times but you just reconnect.

Bought this unit a year ago and loved it so much that I bought another 2 units for my mom & sister. The main reason I purchased was to use them with my Christmas lights. Hated when I was warm and cozy in bed and realized I forgot to unplug the lights (out in the frozen cold)......not anymore. Simply set up the daily timmer and they turn on & off every day. I have lights on our backyard fence. Each night I would need to plug them in at sunset, then unplug when I went to bed. This devise, only about $15, was easy to set up (just download the app) and now the lights are programmed to turn on and on, I can also control them through my Google Assistant if I need to. Love it!

This smart plug was perfect for Xmas lights! It has a very thick cord that worked very well for outdoor use and was very easy to use! I will use it for all my holiday lights and other applications.

Work ok, connects to my WiFi, works with Alexa but after about a year it continues to loose network connection. This is the third Geeni smart plug (other two were indoor smart plugs) that has performed (or failed to perform.

This smart plug has allowed me to remotely switch on our cool string lights, the ones that have that old time look with the individual large bulbs. I can now turn on the lights before walking into that dark part of the yard! It sure beats looking for the plug in the dark. It also impresses the guests when it starts to get dark and I light up the patio from my phone. Note that the price for this and most Geeni stuff is less than the competition, besides Geeni doesn't use a mandatory hub like some other smarthome devices. The Geeni app is easy to use. In addition, we also use Alexa to control our Geeni switches and plugs.

We purchased this smart plug for our outside Christmas lights on our house and it worked very well. I set it up with a schedule for what time to turn them on and off. I also had it setup in my Alexa app and it worked very well with Alexa commands to turn them on or off. Very easy to setup and use!

This item worked flawlessly. You can do so much. I bought several and added them all to a scene where i could turn everything on with just one press of the button. Highly recommend this product

All of the remote outlets i’ Purchased for my holiday lights were really cheap and stopped working. This product was a little bit difficult to link to my network, but it works great so far. Even has a timer.

I’m a big fan of geeni and this product just works, like all their others. The app now allows photos of the things you’re controlling so now geeni is as good as Wemo, finally, but for much less cash.

This is my second Geeni. The first got fired in a thunder storm so you may want to consider the replacement plan. Anyway, this is vey easy to set up with the Geeni app. Just follow the instructions.

Love this! Needed something for my outside Christmas lights to integrate into my smart home & it works perfect with my Google home. And has no problems outside, even in the frigid weather.

bought this puppy for the holiday's, havent installed as of yet but looking forward to ease of use and being able to have christmas lights one without having to worry

Received this smart plug for outdoor use. I do have a covered porch so technically is not out in weather but think it would be fine.
