Brakes squeal, few imperfections but overall bike rides good!

Great ebike! I would buy again. Better than expected!

Nice bike, but it sometimes works and sometimes it dont. It has strong motor. Best buy return is horrible, would have returned since company lowered price 999.

Lot of fun, do check Gen3 website as they were much cheaper there than BB and got price match So far happy with it but only been on 2 rides

Awesome bike! Very happy with purchase. I only use the electric power function randomly and hace kept a charge all week.

Soooo enjoying this bike! It does everything I need it to. I live in the mountains and it gets me home without my lungs bursting into flames!

Have not really ridden this yet. Looking forward to trying it out. Not sure if I would buy an electric bike from Best Buy again, as it is not their specialty. However, the price point attracted me and I saved about $2000.00 from another I was considering.

Bike works great but the charger doesn’t work. Messaged the company and they literally yelled at me that the charger although it never worked was user error. I was instructed to take the battery apart and change the fuses. Very disheartening for such an expensive purchase. May need to return it.

After spending far too much time and effort looking at ebikes at bicycle shops and online, I bought a GEN3 The Stride Step-Thru directly from GEN3 at an excellent price. I spent a leisurely afternoon assembling it (I had never assembled an ebike and was not in a hurry). The bike now has 116 miles on it and has worked perfectly so far. It appears to be sturdily built, has good components (low end of line from well known companies, e.g., Bafang motor and Shimano derailleur), includes, some extras: lights, fenders, and rear rack, bell. I also received from GEN3 a kit including some tools, a bike lock, etc. and free shipping. The specifications are good for the price of the bike. I weigh about 185 lbs and ride over 50 miles on paved roads with some inclines before the battery indicater is down to one bar (out of 5). However, I mainly use only pedal assist levels 0, 1, and 2 since I want to get some exercise. I'm nearly 80 years old and like the motor assist in order to go faster and up hills more easily; the step-thru design is more than helpful at my age! At times during my search for the perfect ebike, I thought I should maybe buy a $3000+ mid-drive, but so far this reasonably priced rear-end drive bike has met all of my needs. It's fun to ride and doesn't break the bank.

Great bike after buying it from Gen3 direct for about 900. I've done an 18 mile ride and a 27 mile ride and pedal assist 1 with a little pedal assist lvl 2 and throttle here or there. The battery never went below half. The full throttle power had no problem pushing all 6' 1" 250Lb up a hill. Getting the rack and the battery connected headlight and the fenders were a bonus. I just wish the rear light was connected to main battery too but it is not, just runs on it's own battery. My biggest gripe is after visiting Gen3Ride website, I found out they closed operations back in October(2022). This would have been a 5 star review if not for that. I'm not sure it is good to recommend bikes that will receive zero support, not to mention at full price and not the sale prices the company had during the summer. Awesome bike but purchase at your own risk without company support. I had thought about buying an extra battery some time in the future so that will not happen now. Hopefully if something goes wrong I can find replacement parts elsewhere.
