Basic - extra features are crap

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a decently priced camera—but holy cow the setup on this camera was a nightmare. I thought it would be easy. It took forever to get it linked with the Cync app to watch the camera feed like multiple nights of rescanning and restarting and resetting up to try, try again. I can’t view the feed on my cync account but can on my partners. It had good view space but terrible microphone/voice projecting to visitors/intruders. Just made terrible staticky noise that would at least scare them away thankfully. I didn’t expect much for the price but still. Cync is still a new brand I think and has a lot to work on. We have their smart lights too. If you just need a basic camera and don’t expect much from the “extra features” then this is the camera for you!

I am lucky that my electrical outlet was in a convenient location. Actually this selection turned out good. Be sure to assess the location closely before buying. In my case the location was good. Lucky me.
