Build quality is great and emulation on this thing is awesome. They really did a good job competing with Nintendo on this one.

Lots of choices and small size makes it easy to save space.

Condolences to Nintendo for their early forays into the HD console market. The Sega Genesis mini console takes their early misses and capitalizes bigly. First, the library of games is outstanding at 40+ with my personal favorite being Castlevania: Bloodlines. The games alone are optimized, well emulated, and capture the best of the times in which they were originally released. The library is varied with OG sonic games, other flagship games, and enough multiplayer games to include a friend. Yes the major con is the relative short length of the controllers which are wired and not conducive for a living room set up. I highly recommend wireless remotes which can easily fit with the device’s USB ports. I’m excited that Sega is having a renaissance of sorts while many other companies such as Nintendo and Sony grow fat and content with their lack of innovation. Rest in power to the Sega genesis as we cautiously wait for the Sega Dreamcast mini/reboot.

If you have seen all those genesis mini systems from AtGames then stay away from those. Stay far away. Emulation is bad and you will regret purchasing it. Everything on this one is almost perfect. Pick this one up instead of those knock off ones and you will be much happier.

After Nintendo’s success with their classic mini systems, Sega finally got serious about releasing a product on par with Nintendo’s. I wish they would have gone with the 6 button controller in the box, but I also get selling it separately for a few more bucks. Don’t buy it at full price, wait for a sale as it happens often with this product

This console has so many games on it that my son was unaware existed. It was super nostalgic to hear the Sonic music that I remember as a kid! He loves this gift, and it keeps him entertained during his free time. I had trouble finding it, and was as grateful that Best Buy had it in stock; they never fail me.

Emulation is good! For $50 well worth the nostalgia and fun.

The games play wonderfully and I’ve encountered no issues at all. The game selection is phenomenal, as well. Getting Castlevania: Bloodlines and The Wiley Wars is a major boon to the system. The save states are very easy and it’s great to be able to just resume your game later so easily. As a longtime Genesis fan, this system is nearly perfect.

Nothing like the nostalgic feeling of holding the controller of the system I played the most out of in the early 90's. Ever since the classic Genesis I stayed loyal to Sega up to the Dreamcast (which I wish they would re-release or revamp) so even if this is a mini version I'm glad they kept the controllers the same.

Got this for something to do during stay-at-home with the family. It's a hit! Some of the games are a little odd (Ecco the Dolphin?!), and some glitches with the game I wish had been fixed before this re-release (Beyond Oasis, trapped in a lake & eaten by fish), but it is so much fun! Nostalgia in a little bundle.

My kids absolutely love this mini console, I have most other mini consoles but seem to prefer this one.

Brings back memories of my youth, back to simpler times. Thank you for Toe Jam and Earl, Earthworm Jim and of course Sonic! I remembering laying on my stomach on the floor for hours watching or playing most of the games provided. As a 40 year old man, I couldn’t stand sitting on the floor for more than 10 minutes playing.

I own all the mini consoles and this one is my favorite for a few reasons: longer cable, great amount of games included, and awesome user interface. The classic controller is a great feel even though I did also buy the 6 button controller. However, it definitely brought back the 90s the minute I plugged it in.

I've add this console to the other 3 mini consoles I already have attached to the retro gaming station. It's super cool and lots of fun especially if you're already Sega fan. Admittedly most of what I enjoy about it is the nostalgia, but even my younger kids love playing it. Especially my youngest who loves Mega Man.

Brings back memories. Video outputs pretty good to hdmi tv. Tons of great Sega hits to keep you entertained. I have the original Sega Genesis, but this is great for take along for travel or quick retro gaming craves.

I grew up on the SEGA Genesis and have a great memories of he device. I am also a fan of Nintendo's mini consoles. This combines the two perfectly. I love having access to so many classic SEGA games so readily. I almost knocked off a star since this lacks Sonic 3, but it's still a quality product.

I had a Sega Genesis growing up and this brought me back. It has the look and feel of the real thing and the game selection is great! I knew what games were on it before I bought, but my only complaint is that I wished it had any of the Mortal Kombat games (especially MK3). Still well worth the money!

As expected: Graphics are pretty grainy and pixelated by today’s standards but that is to be expected. It brought me back to a simpler time. A much needed distraction given the current situation. The price was better than expected. Delivery was fast and convenient. I would recommend this purchase.

I was always a Sega kid back in the day, even though I love Nintendo now but mannn does this bring back great memories. The sheer amount of games included and the quality of the emulator used makes it an easy 5 star. The other mini consoles are good but this one's better because of those 2 things in particular.
