    The filter seems to be effective, but it gets dirty very quickly - I've had to vacuum it weekly and I think it will hae to be replaced by next month, which is a much shorter time period than advertised. However, it seems to work well, which is a plus. Unfortunately, the entire filter has to be replaced each time and is is pricy, compared to orher air purifiers where you can replce the pre-filter.

    The filter was easy to replace the old dirty one with this new air filter just release the old filter from the housing on the rear of the unit and pull it out then push new filter into its place. The lights reset by holding the button for 5 seconds.
